Power” may have come to an end this weekend after six season, but like the hashtag said on the teaser that accompanied the series finale, #PowerNeverEnds, and so it is that Starz has released the full main cast for the show’s first spinoff, “Power Book II: Ghost.”

Newcomers to the “Power” universe include Daniel Bellomy (“The Real Mvp: The Wanda Durrant Story”) as “Ezekiel ‘Zeke’ Cross”; Paige Hurd as “Lauren,” Melanie Liburd as “Caridad ‘Carrie’ Milgram,” Justin McManus (“Star”) as “Jabari Reynolds,” Woody McClain as “Cane Tejada,” Lovell Adams-Gray as “Dru Tejada,” and Latoya Tonedeo (“The Oath”) as “Diana Tejada.”

‘Power’ Alumna Heather Zuhlke To Pen ‘Intercepted’ Series Adaptation For Starz, 50 Cent & La La Anthony

Exclusive: Another key Power player has joined Starz’s Intercepted. Former Power co-executive producer Heather Zuhlke has been tapped to write and executive produce the drama based on Alexa Martin’s bestselling novel. The project, now in development, hails from Power duo Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and La La Anthony.

Intercepted is the first of Martin’s three-book series The Playbook, inspired by the eight years she spent as an NFL wife.

Intercepted is an authentic and gritty drama series set in the high-stakes world of the NFL. Bet Networks & Tyler Perry Studios Set Launch Date, Price For Bet+ Streaming Service

Viacom’s Bet Networks and Tyler Perry Studios today announced a September 19 U.S. launch date for Bet+, their joint venture and premier subscription video-on demand service.

Priced at $9.99 per month, Bet+ will feature more than 1,000 hours of content, including exclusive new original programming, series, movies, and specials from Bet Networks and creators, including Tyler Perry, Tracy Oliver, Will Packer, and others.

“We are thrilled to offer a streaming experience of content curated for the underserved African American audience with Bet+. African Americans have a higher Svod adoption rate than any other consumer base on the market, which is why Bet+ is a natural complement of Bet’s linear network, which has been and continues to be the leading home of black culture for decades,” said Scott Mills, President of Bet Networks.

Viacom and Tyler Perry’s Bet Plus Streaming Service to Debut Sept. 19

Make way for another new streaming service.

Bet Plus, a joint venture between Viacom’s Bet Networks and Tyler Perry Studios, will launch domestically on Thursday, Sept. 19. The ad-free subscription video-on-demand service, priced at $9.99 a month, will kick off with more than 1,000 hours of shows, movies and stand-up specials, including content from Tyler Perry, Tracy Oliver, Will Packer and other African American content creators.

Former Bet Networks Chief Debra Lee Joins AT&T Board

Debra Lee, who last year stepped down as chairman and CEO of Bet Networks after a three-decade career at the Viacom brand, has been added to the board of directors at AT&T. She becomes the first media-tied name to join the board as the company continues to evolve after its $85.4 billion acquisition of Time Warner and its entertainment assets.

Lee began her career with Bet as its first VP and General Counsel in 1986, was elevated to president and COO in 1996 and became chairman and CEO in 2005. Her retirement came amid a revamp at Viacom, which implemented several leadership changes as part of reorganizations implemented by Bob Bakish since he became Viacom CEO in 2017.

‘BH90210’: La La Anthony Joins Cast Of Fox Series Reboot

Exclusive: Power co-star La La Anthony has been tapped for a recurring role on Fox’s six-episode summer drama series BH90210, playing the wife of original Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star Brian Austin Green. She is the first non-90210 alum to officially join the cast of the new series.

L.A.'s Finest: Bad Boys Spinoff Gets Trailer, Premiere Date

The long-gestating Bad Boys spinoff will finally see the light of day.

Spectrum has announced the series will debut Monday, May 13 with a three-episode premiere on demand.

Further episodes will be released Mondays until the end of the 13-episode freshman run.

"The one-hour series follows Syd Burnett (Gabrielle Union), last seen in Miami taking down a drug cartel, who has seemingly left her complicated past behind to become an Lapd detective," reads the official logline.

"Paired with a new partner, Nancy McKenna (Jessica Alba), a working mom with an equally complex history, Syd is forced to confront how her unapologetic lifestyle may be masking a greater personal secret."

Algee Smith (The New Edition Story) and Austin Abrams (The Walking Dead) have joined the cast of Euphoria, HBO’s teen drama starring Zendaya and written by The Wizard of Lies scribe Sam Levinson, with Drake and Future the Prince executive producing.

Bobby Brown Promotes ‘The Bobby Brown Story’ at Hotel Where Whitney Houston Died: ‘The Spirit of My Ex-Wife is Probably Still Here’

Bobby Brown promoted Bet’s “The Bobby Brown Story” at a place with a difficult history for him: The Beverly Hilton, the hotel where his ex-wife Whitney Houston died in 2012.

“The spirit of my ex-wife is probably still here,” Brown said, when asked how it felt to be in the hotel. “It just feels good to be here and to promote this movie.”

As Brown noted, he did not choose the location. The panel was part of an annual summer gathering by the Television Critics Association, which is almost always held at the hotel.

Hulu Inks Viacom Licensing Deal, Lands Exclusive Streaming Rights to ‘Daria’ and Other Shows

Hulu has struck a new agreement with Viacom for library content covering several hundred TV episodes and movies, including exclusive streaming access to the full run of MTV’s animated sitcom “Daria.”

Under the new agreement with Viacom, Hulu is now the exclusive subscription-streaming home to all five seasons of “Daria,” originally a spinoff of “Beavis and Butt-Head” which MTV has announced plans to bring back in a new iteration. Previously, “Daria” was available on Amazon Prime Video.

Other exclusive shows coming to Hulu under the deal are Comedy Central’s “Nathan for You,” MTV’s “My Super Sweet 16” and Bet’s “The New Edition Story.”

In addition, the deal brings 11 series from Nickelodeon and more than 20 films to Hulu. Viacom-owned titles now available to stream on Hulu include “Big Time Rush,” “School of Rock,” “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn,” “Hunter Street,” “Make It Pop,” “Every Witch Way” and “Wits Academy.
