About this series, I still can't believe they cancelled this great show after only 2 seasons when hundreds of shitty ones have 10-5-20 seasons and more, and that they let us once again with an unfinished story, not concluded with a totally opened ending. Yes, The Punisher himself, the hero of the series; but that doesn't impede me to like the show anyway. I may precise that I don't dislike the character in general. I like a lot (contrary to the majority of people, but, who cares?) the movie with Thomas Jane, and didn't dislike at all the character in it. I found The Punisher: Warzone really average, but same, nothing against the hero. But here, already since the 2nd episode, I wish him to be tortured to death, like he likes to do. Of course, the fact he's interpreted by an shitty actor like Jon Bernthal doesn't help, but it's not only this. And, if I hate violence and am 100% against torture (apart when it's used against identified terrorists, serial killers, pedophiles, well, against people that aren't human and don't deserve any humanity in return), the fact this series is so so so violent isn't a pb for me, who love gory movies; horror the most trash possible never shocked me in any way. And I knew by the movies that this "super-hero/anti-hero" is able of using a lot of it. Anyway, I dislike when it's too much, totally free, that's y I disliked a bit the 7th and 8th seasons of "24", cause Jack Bauer became some kind of no limit monster torturing for a yes or a no; I was never against him the 1st 6 seasons, but the last 2, a bit. But not as much as I'm really annoyed by the unbearable Castle here, far away, and so, I never totally dislike Jack Bauer anyways. The pb is when u're fan of superheroes and r so disappointed by 1 of them. And when u can't feel any second for the hero of a series, when aren't sad for the massacre of his family, when u think he deserved it and so much more, when u r the side of his opponent no matter which one it is, well, it's an huge pb. When u see any single character is way more human than the hero u like and wanna follow... ouch.
EDIT: After the 1st 2-3 episodes, the character changed a lot and became way way more likable ad not anymore hatable.
