Dear horror lovers, I finished this list on October 1, 2023, on my birthday, when golden leaves fall from the trees. The full moon illuminates my window and the cold wind touches my cheeks as I write this now... I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.
During my 27 years of life on this beautiful planet, I have watched over a thousand movies, at least half of them was - horror. I've been writing down movie titles in my physical notebook all my life, and a year and a half ago I came up with the idea to transfer my list to a digital format, here on IMDB, and share it with you.
This is my list of the 300 best horror movies. Why did I come up with the idea to make a top 300 and not a top 50 or 100? Because such lists already exist, and I'm a creative being who likes to deviate from the mold. Not every one of these movies deserves a 10/10 rating, but they all deserves to be seen at least once.
