Time flies when you’re having fun!
Three months into Ryan Seacrest‘s new permanent gig as co-host of Live with Kelly Ripa, the morning show duo looked back on the shenanigans and fun moments they’ve had together while hosting.
From Seacrest, 42, wearing the newest men’s fashion trend (don’t worry, the bromper was photoshopped) to the pair trying to latest fad of pickle juice soda (you can pass on this one), Seacrest and Ripa reminisced on all the memorable — and sometimes cringeworthy — moments together. BBC bosses have reportedly banned ''token oldie'' contestants from 'Strictly Come Dancing'. Station executives are said to have told casting agents for the ballroom dance contest to only sign up celebrities with a ''chance of winning'' and, having seen the likes of Tony Jacklin, Paul Daniels, Johnny Ball and Edwina Currie fail to impress on the dancefloor, they have advised staying away from older stars. A source told The Sun newspaper: ''Bosses say signing so-called 'old duffers' is a waste of time because they never have a chance of winning. They are never very good. ''The critical detail now will be that each...

Play School ran for 24 years until 1988 and was fronted by presenters including Brian Cant, Carol Chell, Johnny Ball, Derek Griffiths and Floella Benjamin.
The programme celebrated landmarks such as becoming the first children's programme broadcast in colour on BBC Two in 1968, and became the first children's show in the UK to feature a black host when Paul Danquah joined the team in 1965.
To mark half a century since the show's launch, Play School will be part of a special exhibition commemorating Children's BBC called 'Here's One We Made Earlier', which is due to open in July at The Lowry in Manchester.

The BBC’s new teatime adventure show, written by Misfits’ Howard Overman, gets off to an energetic, cartoonish start…
1.1 The Earth Bull
Meet Jason, the latest BBC adventurer to spend Saturday teatimes running from monsters, jumping off things, and unravelling the mysteries of his fate. Unlike timeslot predecessors Robin Hood and Merlin, Jason does his running, jumping and fate-unravelling against an appealing Mediterranean backdrop. He’s the hero of Atlantis (less a lost city than a handy compendium of Greek myth in this incarnation), a fish out of water with a secret destiny and a six-pack.
Having exhausted English folklore and Arthurian legend, BBC One has a new seam of monsters-of-the-week to mine. The likes of the Minotaur, Furies, Medusa, Dionysus and Pandora are being repackaged into forty five-minute adventures around which the family can gather of a Saturday night. Noddy Holder is reportedly wanted for this year's Strictly Come Dancing.
Slade's frontman has revealed that he has been approached by BBC bosses to join the 2013 lineup of stars.
However, he explained that he will only take part if he feels he stands a decent chance of winning.
"I get asked to do all the reality shows, but I'm in my late sixties now. I can't be going to the North Pole and the jungle," Holder is quoted as telling The Sun.
"I have been asked to do Strictly and I like the show - I've been down to watch it being filmed with my missus, who is a huge fan and keeps badgering me to do it.

Downton Abbey won back its Sunday ratings crown off The X Factor last night, the latest overnight data has revealed. Some 9.46m (a 36.3% share) watched the latest episode of ITV's hit period drama in the 9pm hour, while 254k (1%) caught the show on ITV1 +1 an hour later. Meanwhile, The X Factor pulled in a steady 9.37m (35.3%) in the 8pm slot, adding 345k (2%) on +1 as Rylan Clark survived another week at the expense of Melanie Masson. Strictly Come Dancing's half-hour results show, which culminated with the departure of Johnny Ball, drew 8.06m (32.5%) at 7pm. However, ITV's late scheduling of an hour-long Coronation Street in the 7pm slot, which attracted 6.24m (25.3%), would have dented Strictly. Tracy Barlow's pregnancy bombshell in Corrie was seen by a further 484k (1.8%) on +1. After Strictly (more)...

Johnny Ball has said that he is "bitterly disappointed" to have left Strictly Come Dancing. The TV entertainer became the first celebrity to be voted off the BBC show over Richard Arnold on last night's programme (October 14). Ball said that he was particularly upset, as he never got the chance to show his younger side to the audience. "I never got to show how youthful I can appear, because I was always in a tails and high collar," he told The Sun. "The plan was for something lighter next time, and now I will never get the chance. But someone has to go out every week - it is bitterly disappointing for whoever it is." Johnny Ball has become the first celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing 2012. The TV entertainer and professional partner Iveta Lukosiute found themselves in the bottom two with Richard Arnold and Erin Boag. The 14 couples had each danced a foxtrot, jive, cha cha cha, Viennese waltz or salsa, with the judges' scores combined with scores from last week and amalgamated with viewers' votes. The bottom two couples performed their routines once more in the dance-off, with Arnold and Boag doing the cha cha cha to The B-52's 'Love Shack'. Ball and Lukosiute performed the foxtrot to Michael Bublé's 'Everything' in order to stay in the competition. David Beckham, Michael Jordan, Pelé … Team Gb's young diver should take a look at the abject dabbling of sport's biggest stars before making the switch
Although nobody would deny Team Gb the opportunity to cash in on their hard-won successes this summer, you can't help but wish they'd be a bit pickier. After seeing the gritty but flawed British film ‘The Scouting Book for Boys’, Reviewed here, I was looking forward to witnessing another British film in ‘My Last Five Girlfriends’ and hoped for another example of what British Cinema has to offer. Unfortunately it turned out to be a flat, underwhelming Rom-Com but something that would have definitely worked as a TV series.
Taken from Alain de Botton’s book ‘Essays On Love’ and made for the screen by Director Julian Kemp, the film introduces us to impending suicider Duncan (Brendan Patricks) who narrates and carries us through his story of looking back at his Last Five Girlfriends to try and understand what went wrong with each one. We venture through an abundance of flashy filming techniques and visual relationship metaphors in a fantasy dream like imaginary world learning of each girlfriend on the list, their plus and minus points and what caused it to fail.
