Los Angeles, July 25 (Ians) Grammy winning singer Tori Kelly, who is known for ‘Foreword’, ‘Unbreakable Smile’, ‘Hiding Place’ and others, has been hospitalised and is being treated for blood clots around her vital organs. Her situation seems to be “really serious”.
Sources close to the Grammy-winning singer told TMZ that she was at dinner in downtown Los Angeles, with friends recently when her heart started beating really fast. The source said that Tori passed out, and was “out for a while”.
Tori’s friends wanted to make sure she wasn’t taken to a hospital downtown, and instead taken to Cedars-Sinai — one of the country’s top hospitals, so they carried her outside, loaded her in a vehicle and sped to the hospital instead of calling an ambulance.

It will feature an array of guest stars, including Craig David and others to be announced, accompanied by the Chineke! Orchestra conducted by Chris Cameron.

When news broke that a horror film called Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey would premiere in 2023, people certainly had mixed reactions. Whether you loved or hated the idea from the get-go, you probably had the same question as everyone else: How could they get away with creating a horror version of Winnie the Pooh without committing copyright violations?
The answer is complicated. But this was clearly a team that did their homework. The film premiered on February 15 without a legal hitch. It’s been so popular with viewers that a sequel has already been greenlit. Here’s how it all unfolded:
The history of Winnie the Pooh and how Disney got involved
Roger Lewis on fine form with Winnie the Pooh. The first line:
"Now that the Winnie-the-Pooh books have fallen out of copyright, I can say with impunity I never could stand the fat wee bastard."
Then he really gets going.

Adam Hills has apologised after a World Cup parody song featured on The Last Leg sparked a backlash among viewers.
The sports comedy show caused upset when they shared their “anthem” for the football tournament on social media, after England beat Iran 6-2 on Monday (21 November).
Performed to the tune of “Three Lions”, the joke song referenced some of the controversies attached to this year’s event and its host country, such as the mistreatment of migrant workers and Qatar’s criminalisation of homosexuality.
Viewers complained about one set of lyrics in particular, which make reference to LGBTQ+ people facing violence: “But in Qatar if Alan Carr toured/ And was joined by Boy George/ And then even RuPaul/ They could end up/ Three heads on a spike.”
Many people took issue with the references to violence. “Using the imagery of dead queer people when we are murdered every day and...

Leigh Francis has said that Craig David needs to “move on” from their Bo Selecta row.
The TV personality – who uses the comedy name Keith Lemon – has been criticised in the past for the stunt in which he wore a rubber mask with exaggerated features intended to resemble the “7 Days” singer.
Francis impersonated a number of different celebrities on Bo Selecta, which ran on Channel 4 from 2002 to 2009.
David was one of those celebrities, and recently opened up about how the show affected him, calling it “bullying” and “racist”.

Simon Cowell is to be replaced by Take That singer Gary Barlow on upcoming ITV entertainment format Walk The Line.
The genre-bending show from Cowell’s Syco Entertainment and ITV Studios’ rebranded Lifted Entertainment division was unveiled with fanfare over the summer and would have represented Cowell’s on-screen return 15 months after be broke his back after falling off an E-bike, which meant he missed out on presenting Britain’s Got Talent and America’s Got Talent.
However, he told UK newspaper The Sun yesterday that he wanted to “focus on my role as creator and producer as we build up to the hugely exciting launch” later this year.
Cowell’s replacement is Barlow, with whom he worked on now-cancelled long-running ITV format The X Factor. Barlow will be joined by UK presenter Maya Jama and singer Craig David.
Cowell is expected to return for the next series of Britain’s Got Talent.

PBS has acquired the domestic distribution rights to “Icon: Music Through the Lens,” a docuseries about the history of photography for rock stars and musicians through the years.
Dick Carruthers, a legendary music director who has worked with artists like The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Beyonce, White Stripes, Oasis, Paul McCartney and Black Sabbath, directed and produced “Icon,” and music photographer Gered Mankowitz curated the series’ many iconic photos.
PBS plans to air the series this summer, which is in six, one-hour parts, as part of the network’s primetime lineup.
“Icon” charts the fascinating lives and often crazy experiences of music photogs, from the earliest darkrooms to the digital landscapes of the present day. The series examines famous studio portraits, record sleeves, music magazine shoots, live shows, exhibitions, social media, coffee table books and fine art to ask what makes an image iconic and discover what the future holds for music photography.

The 2021 Brit Awards are in full swing tonight, and there have already been some pretty wonderful moments. Ahead of the award show, Yasmin Evans, Aj Odudu, Maya Jama, and Clara Amfo interviewed stars on the red carpet, including ultimate girl band Haim.
Tailored suits, flowing hair, and overall cool girl vibes are all things that you'd expect from Haim on the red carpet, but what you wouldn't expect, is that the girls are pretty big fans of Craig David. When Yasmin told the girls that Craig would be in attendance and performing, Este had to take some time to process, hilariously walking away from the mic. Haim then proceeded to sing along to "7 Days," aka a Craig David classic, which was pretty impressive.
Fans thought so too as they shared their hilarious thoughts on Twitter basically saying the things that we were all thinking.
And *this* is why we are forever obsessed with @HAIMtheband!

In today’s Global Bulletin, the deceasing average of ages in BAFTA TV actress nominees raises ageism concerns; Gary Barlow sets music show at the BBC; Red Productions hires Chloe Dunbar as head of development; the European Audiovisual Observatory and the U.K.’s Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport announce sustainability conference; “Game of Thrones” prequel finds home at Sky Atlantic; and a Stanley Tucci Italian culinary series will debut in June on CNN International.
An analysis conducted by the Acting Your Age Campaign has found that since 2000, the average age of BAFTA leading TV actresses nominees has reduced from 52 to 32. “The messaging of this downwards age-trend is clear and worrying,” the analysis states. “Gendered ageism is seemingly increasing.”
In 2021 alone, nominees Daisy Edgar-Jones (“Normal People”), Billie Piper (“I Hate Suzie”), Hayley Squires (“Adult Material”), Jodie Comer (“Killing Eve”) and Letitia Wright (“Small Axe”) are aged between 22 and...

“Tiger King” and Carole Baskin’s bizarre saga just took another surreal turn.
In a bizarre prank only made possible by the coronavirus lockdown, two YouTubers used Zoom to pose as Jimmy Fallon producers and trick Baskin into giving her first interview since the release of the hit Netflix docuseries “Tiger King.”
Claiming to be producers from “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon,” YouTubers Josh Pieters and Archie Manners reached out to Baskin to make her think she was appearing on the late-night show that is being broadcast from Fallon’s home during the coronavirus safe-at-home order. The pair recently pulled a similar stunt on some British celebrities — like pop star Craig David — using clips from “The Late Late Show With James Corden” that were aired during the Covid-19 lockdown, with Manners pretending to be a producer on the Zoom call.

As the U.K. lockdown wears on and our reality still feels inconceivable, a TV show about a surreal TV drama became appointment viewing this week, underlining the lifeline that broadcasting has become to millions of people.
Commercial broadcaster ITV consistently drew more than five million viewers across three nights for “Quiz,” from “The Crown” producer Left Bank Pictures, a superb dramatization of the true story of a cheating scandal on ITV’s “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” in 2001.
Based on James Graham’s eponymous play, the series depicted “Fleabag” star Sian Clifford and scene-stealing “Succession” actor Matthew Macfadyen as couple Diana and Charles Ingram, who were accused of cheating on the hit show via a coughing accomplice in the audience, and eventually stood trial.
Stripped across the week, “Quiz” debuted in its 9 p.m. slot on Monday with 5.3 million and slowly rose to 5.8 million by Wednesday night, well...

This Quiz review contains spoilers.
Quiz episode 3
Quiz might be set in the early 2000s, with all the bootcut jeans, Sugababes and Sir Trevor Macdonald that entails, but it’s a drama about now. Not now-now, but the last existential crisis before this one – or maybe two ago, before climate catastrophe and Coronavirus – the one about the truth.
When James Graham’s play was being written, one consequence of the reality TV boom, fact-adjacent Facebook ads and interbreeding in the worlds of advertising, celebrity and politics was moving its furniture into the White House. The UK had watched a referendum campaign fought by mostly shrugs on one side and custom bus decals on the other. People were sick of experts. News was fake. It was the post-truth era.
That’s the context for episode three, which is mired in the trickiness of facts vs lies. ‘The bottom’s falling out of the truth market,...

Following up on his collaborative remix of MØ‘s “Final Song” with Jauz from earlier in the week, Diplo is back to offer up a new single with DJ Fresh titled “Bang Bang.” The producer’s latest offering sees him stepping outside of his comfort zone on a drum and bass influenced tune featuring vocal contributions from Craig David, Selah Sue and R. City.
“Bang Bang” utilizes jungle style breakbeats to craft a spastic rhythmic backbone for the song, as Diplo injects his usual reggae influences into the production. As the drums crash on, Selah Sue’s soulful crooning takes over, set against an uplifting horn melody and plucky guitar strums. The varied vocal performances in the song keep the focus moving throughout its short runtime, lending an eclectic vibe to the collaboration.

After branching out with some garage and R&B flavored efforts like his collaboration with Craig David on “No Holding Back” and “Thinking About You” with Jay Sean, Hardwell is back to offer up another blistering festival banger in his usual style. During Friday’s episode of Hardwell On Air, the Dutch DJ took the opportunity to drop an upcoming collaboration with W&W titled “Get Down.”
“Get Down” kicks things off with a bang as explosive house beats and pitch rising sound design fill the speakers. After a quick intro the track switches gears into the drop, as four on the floor rhythms pound out a persistent rhythm intersected by a steady barrage of chopped up vocal samples. The track definitely packs a punch with some electrifying synth work, as Hardwell and W&W work in their best mainstage riffs to foster an intense dancefloor experience.

Hardwell is back at it today with the release of his latest single “Thinking About You,” a collaboration with multi-platinum selling singer songwriter Jay Sean. The duo’s new effort sees the Dutch DJ crafting an R&B flavored dance cut under some seriously catchy hooks courtesy of his vocal collaborator, and the result is a memorable tune that showcases each artists strengths.
“Thinking About You” sets the R&B vibes straight from the get go as Hardwell layers deep piano chords under Jay Sean’s smooth vocal delivery. The energy steadily builds up throughout the verse as percussion elements join the mix, leading into an energetic drop with a bouncy bassline and churning drums, topped off with modulated vocal samples.
Like his collaboration with Craig David on “No Holding Back,” Hardwell‘s latest single injects a hefty R&B influence, resulting in a smooth dance pop sound that contrasts his more familiar electro style.
