Poor Sunny Deol! His Ghayal Once Again seems to be living up to its title. The project, meant to revive Sunny's glorious innings in the past when Ghayal ripped open the box offfice, is being shuttled from pillar to post. The latest development is that it has been shifted from January 15 to February 5 so that Sunny would have more time to promote the film. Not only is a star of his stature, with a following in North India that could put politicians to shame, reduced to selling his new film from channel to channel on television, he also had to go through the experience of waiting for hours for Salman to show up to shoot for 'Bigg Boss'. Sunny finally left in a huff. But he had to return to fulfil his marketing obligations towards his new release Ghayal Once Again. Then on Kapil Sharma's show...

From the time the news has been out regarding Ram Lakhan remake, there have been several speculations around as to which set of actors will reprise the original. From playing Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff's part to leading ladies Madhuri Dixit and Dimple Kapadia's role in the remake version, many names have cropped up.
On the other side, B-town actors (especially newbies) have an eye over the coveted project and even trying their best to bag it. And why wouldn't anyone vie for it? After all it has some big names involved like Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty, who have been influential in shaping many careers.
Only recently there was buzz that Abcd 2 star Shraddha Kapoor is being considered to be cast as 'Radha' (played by Madhuri in Ram Lakhan). Further, Alia Bhatt is also contending for it. And now we hear Singh Saab The Great fame Urvashi Rautela...

Bollywood's one of the most anticipated forthcoming films Sultan starring Salman Khan is being talked about for reasons more than one. Besides the big clash between Salman's Sultan vs Shah Rukh Khan's Raees, the much touted Yrf venture is also in news as to who would be the leading lady of the film.
While initially there were reports doing the rounds stating that Deepika will star in the movie, no confirmation was received. Later media was agog with the news that Bollywood's latest 'Queen' Kangana Ranaut has been approached to pair opposite Salman in Sultan. However, she turned down the role for Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon starring Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan alongside.
Now the rumours are rife that Singh Saab The Great fame Urvashi Rautela might just grab the film.

L’Oreal and Femina’s Women’s awards saw a selected few notable names from the film fraternity in attendance. Here’s how the ladies faired on the red carpet:
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Its great to Aishwarya doing the rounds again and even more great to see her taking some leaps with styling. The night saw her in a fresh of the runaway Sabyasachi tunic which she paired with a churidar and matching dupatta. The sleek hair do was a welcome change as was the crisp makeup. Wish she’d worn the tunic as a dress, as presented on the ramp, since the churidaar look is something that she’s done to death but nonetheless that won’t stop me from gushing over how amazing she looked on the night.

In the industry for over three decades and a veteran of close to 100 films, Sunny Deol has at times been tagged as moody by the makers. This is what the team of ‘Dishkiyaoon’ too feared when the actor was roped in for an all important part of ‘Lakwa’ in the film. As it turned out though, all fears were unfounded once the actor was required to be on the sets.
Says first time director Sanamjit Talwar, “Yes, I had heard that he is moody and that he comes on sets based on how he feels on a particular day. However I didn’t see any of that on my film. For a 12 hours grueling shoot of 7 Am in the morning till 7 Pm in the evening, he would be on the sets at 6:30 Am itself.”

The year 2013 wasn’t without its awful dreck, unlistenable songs, and dreadfully earnest star sons trying their hand at acting. It was also the year where trumpeting your own horn (looking at you Mr Sajid Khan!) proved to an ironically bad choice, promotion tours became exhaustively boring, and albums that made our ears bleed. There were many terrible films and debuts that made us cringe, and shake our fists at the wasted potential. Here once again are the Bollywood Razzies of 2013.
Awful Actress – Pallavi Sharda
It was quite astonishing that Sharda managed to bodge up a dream debut with Ranbir Kapoor in Besharam. While the film was hyped to be a rollicking comedy, Sharda was picked out from the crop of Bollywood actresses for Abhinav Kashyap’s film away from Dabangg mania. Sharda looked completely uncomfortable in her big role, where the three Kapoors tried to salvage the crumbling story and bad writing.

Sunny Deol whose recent release Singh Saab The Great opened well is already moving on to his next project. In fact the actor is set to restart his film Ghayal Returns. The project that has till date changed multiple hands when it came to direction will now be directed by Sunny himself. This will mark Sunny's return to direction after a 14 year gap; the last film he directed being Dillagi in 1999. Confirming the development, the actor's spokesperson says, "Yes Sunny will be directing the film as well as acting in it. However, the rest of the cast is yet to be finalized." He is also in no mood to mince words about the way the film industry functions nowadays.
"About time a film of mine was well-received. I am tired of the long non-happening phase. Unfortunately I haven't had too many releases recently. There are some of my films that are on hold. Hopefully, they'll be released soon. But let me add, I don't need to prove myself. I just need good cinema, the kind of cinema.

When Ians asked Sunny if he'd like to join the remake brigade and bring back any of his father's films to the big screen, he said: "I wouldn't do it for any other reason because dad's films have been such iconic films."
Veteran star Dharmendra, 77, is known for movies like "Phool Aur Paththar", "Sholay", "Seeta Aur Geeta" and "Chupke Chupke".
Sunny said: "There is magic in them. The way the directors directed them, it's wonderful! We.

Blue Is The Warmest Colour (18)
(Abdellatif Kechiche, 2013, Fra/Bel/Sp) Adèle Exarchopoulos, Léa Seydoux, Jérémie Laheurte. 180 mins
Beyond making viewers feel lecherous, this Cannes winner's already notorious sexual frankness is just one element in an intense, sensual study of a young woman learning about love, life and, yes, sex. It's storytelling at its finest: simple but detailed, and at times unbearably emotional.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (12A)
(Francis Lawrence, 2013, Us) Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson. 146 mins
The only post-Twilight teen franchise left standing brings media manipulation and simmering revolution to its next round of youth combat.

Film: "Singh Saab The Great"; Actors: Sunny Deol, Urvashi Rautela, Amrita Rao and Prakash Raj; Director: Anil Sharma; Rating: ***1/2
There is something to be said about that 'dhaai kilo ka haath' which Sunny Deol patented in well-made action films like "Ghatak", "Ghayal" and "Gadar - Ek Prem Katha". Lately, his career was eclipsed by wrong choices. Maybe, the 'haath' (hand) was not in the right place.
Back in form with a bang in "Singh Saab The Great", Sunny delivers a wallop. Looking every inch the Sardar in-charge, he furnishes the film with a flair that is quite engaging. No, he doesn't wrench off a hand-pump to thrash.
