Some of Taylor Swift‘s biggest hits were co-written with her longtime pal Jack Antonoff — and now the superstar is giving fans a behind the scenes look at their writing process.
In the final episode of The Making of a Song series, the entertainers collaborate in the studio on “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things,” which appears to be a song at least partly inspired by her ongoing feud with Kanye West.
People has an exclusive first look at the episode (airing in full Tuesday), which features Swift and Antonoff, 33, creating the sound of a children’s choir.

The women vying for Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s heart have finally been revealed!
ABC unveiled the 29 women hoping to find love on The Bachelor in a press release on Friday. Interestingly, shared the women "who can be revealed" -- and 29 is less than the 30 women who competed for Nick Viall last season of The Bachelor.

Taylor Swift is continuing to control the narrative of her Reputation-era public persona.
To accompany her British Vogue cover story and fashion shoot, the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer wrote a revealing new poem, which the U.K. outlet published in its January 2018 issue.

Mubi is hosting the exclusive global premiere of Gary Walkow's Radio Mary (2017), which will be showing November 28 - December 28, 2017.Gary Walkow’s filmmaking career has a peculiar shape. For a while he looked like a low-key American indie success story waiting for his breakthrough. His first feature The Trouble With Dick shared the Grand Prize at the 1987 Us Film Festival, which was renamed to Sundance a few years later. Notes From Underground (1995), a modern-day Dostoyevsky adaptation, premiered at Toronto and got good reviews and a modest bit of distribution; but Beat (2000), with Kiefer Sutherland and Courtney Love as Bill and Joan Burroughs, had a rocky reception at Sundance and seemed to mark the end of Indiewood’s flirtation with Walkow. After a hiatus that included an unfinished film, Walkow’s career began a second, more clandestine phase with Crashing (2007), a very low-budget comedy that eventually received DVD distribution, boosted...

Former Dream singer Melissa Schuman claims Nick Carter raped her back in 2002 ... when she was 18 and he was 22. Melissa says she and the Backstreet Boys singer started talking because their managers suggested they date -- presumably for good PR -- even though she says she already had a boyfriend. She claims Carter invited her and a friend to his Santa Monica apartment for what she calls a "casual hangout" -- and after some boozing he started making out with her.

On a recent afternoon, Valerie Harper kicks back on a sofa in her Santa Monica, California, condo overlooking the Pacific, happily chewing gum and talking matter-of-factly about the disease that should have killed her four years ago.
“I’m still here,” Harper tells People in an exclusive interview in this week’s issue. “I still have cancer, but I’m okay and most of my days are good.”
Nearly a half century has passed since Harper made her debut as Rhoda Morgenstern on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, a character that gave the actress her own hit sitcom, Rhoda, and made her a 1970s icon.

Is Disney about to start a price war in Over-The-Top streaming video? Probably.
The Mouse House dropped plenty of clues the past several days about where it wants to go. And that has implications for nearly everyone else in Ott, a business already bracing for the arrival of multiple Disney streaming channels in the next 18 months.
First, word leaked out that Disney had been negotiating to buy Fox’s film and TV production operations. A completed deal could have brought back Disney’s prodigal Marvel franchises for X-Men and Fantastic Four as well as rights to distribute the first six Star Wars films. Disney would have picked up a huge library of quality content from cable channels such as FX and National Geographic, though as owner of ABC, Disney is legally barred from buying Fox’s broadcast network. Fox news and sports channels were not part of negotiations.

After jumping ahead of much of the awards season fray for their 2016 awards, the Broadcast Film Critics Association (Bfca) and the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (Btja) have now officially moved their annual awards ceremony back to the mid-January slot it for so long occupied. Last year, the Critics’ Choice Awards took place on December 11, a very early date that may have given the ceremony a jump on their competitors, but left some members scrambling to watch all of the year’s movies and series in time for voting. This year, things go back to relative normal.
The 23rd Annual Critics’ Choice Awards will take place on January 11, 2018. The show will continue its combined Film and Television awards format, honoring the finest in both cinematic and televised/streaming achievement, and take place once again at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.
