EntertainmentWith the film doing well at the theatres, its Bo collections are expected to soar in the coming days. Digital Native shivrajkumar2.jpgDigital NativeShiva Rajkumar’s Mufti is turning out to be one of the biggest blockbusters in Sandalwood. Released on December 1 amidst a lot of expectations, the film has garnered positive reviews. According to reports from the trade sources, the film has collected Rs. 15 crores in just five days and the collections are soaring with good word of mouth. Reports say that producer Jayanna has specified that box office collections of Mufti have gone over Rs 15 crores with the film being shown in around 250 screens. Going by the way the film is doing at the box office, it is sure to break quite a few box office records in the Kannada film industry, say sources. Starring Srimurali in the lead role, Mufti has Shiva Rajkumar playing a pivotal role. Sources say that Srimurali is extremely happy over the response that the film has been garnering and is contemplating going for a sequel. The modalities of this are being worked out but it is too early to speculate if there would be a sequel for the film, add sources. Directed by Narthan, who has made his directorial debut with Mufti, the film has been produced by Jayanna under his banner Jayanna Combines. While the film starred Shiva Rajkumar in an important role, its lead actors were Sriimurali and Shanvi Srivastava. The star cast also included Vasishta N Simha, Devaraj, Chaya Singh, Sadhu Kokila, Prakash Belawadi, and Chikkanna. Ravi Basrur has composed music for this flick with the cinematography handled by Naveen Kumar. Mufti is high on the action quotient but it has all elements to attract the family audiences as well, which speaks of its success at the box office. With the film doing well at the theatres, its Bo collections are expected to soar in the coming days. Enanble Notification: NoTnm Marquee: No...

We know Céline Dion often breaks out in song whenever she feels like it (she’s Céline Dion!). And we know how excited she is about her new handbag line. (It launched this fall.) So for her brand’s first holiday season in stores, she teamed up with Nordstrom to get everyone in the shopping spirit in true Dion fashion — by remixing “The Christmas Song.”
“Chestnuts roasting in my new handbag,” she began in her promotional video for Nordstrom modeling the “Octave” style (which you can buy here!). She abruptly stopped herself to try to clarify things for listeners: “Oh no,...

Camila Cabello has been dominating the charts with her hit single “Havana,” off of her forthcoming album The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving. The track — an homage to her Cuban roots — not only stands at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, but is now making the singer a record-breaker in the United Kingdom.
The former Fifth Harmony member has the longest-running No. 1 single from a female artist in the U.K. for the decade. Last week, “Havana” took the No. 1 spot in the singles chart for its fifth successive week, tying Adele’s 2011 smash hit “Someone Like You.”

If December is a relatively quiet month for Netflix, perhaps that’s because they want you to spend the holidays scaling the seemingly infinite mountain of content they’ve released this year. Good luck with that. But the streaming giant’s latest batch of new releases, however scarce, offer a wild variety of things to see. From an under-the-radar family drama that some critics believe is the best movie the year, to a demented Michael Shannon Christmas movie that some critics don’t even believe is a real thing, these are the seven best films coming to Netflix this December.

1. “The Crown” Season 2 (available December 8)
Why Should I Watch It? “The Crown” is the new ruler of Netflix. With “House of Cards” on the outs (take that as you will), the streaming giant’s other big-time awards player is assuming, ahem, the crown. Peter Morgan’s historical drama may not be for everyone — period drama fans will swoon, while anyone looking for surprises will snooze — but it’s an unequivocally well-made show, with pristine production design and impeccable performances. Sure, you may wish for more corgis and less melodrama, but the stuffiness is largely overshadowed by astonishing grandeur. This will be a perennial awards player for the foreseeable future, so you may as well try it out.
Best Episode: Season 2 lacks an obvious standout — Season 1’s arguable choice would be the penultimate episode, “Assassins” — but I’d argue Episode 4 of Season 2, titled “Beryl,” is the best of the lot. Focusing on Princess Margaret,...

That happened to also be around the same time that he and Ross Copperman collaborated on the song "Female," written in response to the Harvey Weinstein scandal that rocked Hollywood. Urban would go on to debut that song with a performance at the Cma Awards in November.

Twitter went into overdrive on Friday after President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser, Michael Flynn, pleaded guilty to charges that he lied to the FBI during a January 2017 interview.
According to the Associated Press, court documents show that Flynn will admit to making false statements about his conversations with the Russian ambassador to the U.S. while Trump was president-elect. The move makes Flynn the first Trump White House official to plead guilty so far in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Trump campaign’s possible collusion with Russia to influence the 2016 presidential election.

Perhaps in fear that it would be overshadowed by a little-known Marvel property called Avengers: Infinity War, it seems Universal quietly scrapped plans to unveil the first trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom on Thursday evening.
Earlier this week, we caught wind of the studio’s timeline, after Trailer Track unearthed a now-pulled teaser that suggested Fallen Kingdom‘s inaugural preview would drop during the Cowboys vs. Redskins NFL game. Now, as we approach the week’s end, there’s still no sign of Universal’s premiere. But a trailer is coming – and soon, according to director Juan Antonio Bayona.
Via Twitter, the Spanish filmmaker has now posted a screengrab of the iconic MPAA splash screen, along with the caption, “almost there.” Surely it’s only a matter of days before Universal blows the lid off Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom? We’ll be a keeping a close eye on the...

Princess Sofia looks good in anything — even a very traditional Swedish outfit.
For son Prince Gabriel’s christening on Friday, Sofia wore a traditional Swedish folk costume complete with an embroidered head cap, striped apron and pilgrim-esque buckled shoes.
The event, which comes almost exactly three months after the little royal‘s August 31 birth, took place at the Drottningholm Royal Palace Chapel in Stockholm.
The 32-year-old mom of two’s choice of the classically Swedish outfit was a fitting one for the occasion: She wore the red and white Folkdräkt — Swedish for folk costume — of Gabriel’s own Duchy, Dalarna.

Demi Lovato gets hitched to Jesse Williams in her cinematic new music video for “Tell Me You Love Me,”—or does she? The pair certainly have a bumpy ride on the way to the altar.
The Mark Pellington-directed clip begins with a rapid-fire montage of a giddy proposal—and the steamy celebration—before jealousy and doubt threaten to consume their relationship. But amidst the dramatic fighting, Lovato intones the song’s title.

Hold your horses, folks; Wonder Woman 2 may not feature a whole new love story after all.
As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Patty Jenkins took to Twitter late last night to clarify what she believes to be “some pretty false assumptions” about Diana’s sophomore adventure. Essentially, the writer-director took issue with outlets jumping to conclusions based on nothing more than “vague quotes” about a project that is still very much in the early stages of development – rumor has it that Jenkins will get the gang back together this summer ahead of a theatrical release in 2019.
To their credit, Collider’s article cited a direct quote from Patty Jenkins (more on that later), who appeared on Variety’s Playback podcast to discuss what Wonder Woman 2 has in store. Word spread pretty fast, too, and it wasn’t long before online commentators collectively rolled their eyes at the mention of another “great love story.

After announcing their engagement on Monday, Prince Harry and his new fiancée, Meghan Markle, wasted no time in getting to work. On Friday morning, they visited Nottingham, England, for their first official appearance together. Kensington Palace tweeted that Harry was "delighted to be introducing the city to Ms. Markle," and she definitely got a warm welcome. Despite freezing temperatures in the UK, crowds began gathering in the early hours, desperate to catch a glimpse of the happy couple. Harry and Meghan smiled and waved as they greeted the public outside the National Justice Museum, and Meghan gave us another glimpse of her beautiful engagement ring, as she kept cozy in a navy coat. While greeting the crowd, Harry was asked by a fan what it's like to be with someone like Meghan "as a ginger," to which he jokingly replied, "It's great isn't it? Unbelievable!" The pair then began the short walk to Nottingham Contemporary,...

Ken Russell’s reputation as a stoker of controversy and flamboyant provocateur in extremis largely precedes his voluminous body of work. His best-known film, The Devils – condemned by the Catholic Church and edited significantly by the film’s producers before finally being released by Warner Bros. in 1971 – continues to uphold a sorcerer-like allure due, in part, to still-relative absence on home-video platforms and repertory circuits. It seems that, in some ways, Russell’s notoriety stems from how much censorship succeeded – an infamy bolstered by the continued inaccessibility of his most notorious efforts, even in the on-demand era, despite the loosening of moral standards since his films first passed through ratings boards. It’s hard to believe that, as far as content is concerned, a modern audience would still find his depictions of sexuality and religion so morally beyond the pale. But from a stylistic perspective, much of Russell’s formal...

Happy Thursday "Bold and The Beautiful" fans. Today's November 30,2017 episode was everything we expected and more. They showed quite a variety of scenes. We saw Steffy with both Liam and Bill in separate scenes. Sally was in scenes with both Coco and Liam at separate times. Then they even gave Coco more screentime in a little girl talk scene with Darlita about how Sally just can't get Liam off her mind. Oh, and they're still overdoing it with those Steffy and Bill affair flashback scenes. It's like, 'Ok, we get it. They still have the affair constantly on their minds.' We really hope they bring this storyline to some type of a head soon. We sense that Liam is very close to finding out about the affair. The rest of the December storyline teasers will hopefully reveal some additional intel about that situation when they come out tomorrow. We'll see.

Kate Winslet Was ‘Profoundly Irritated’ By Her Complicated Character in Woody Allen’s ‘Wonder Wheel’
Stories of actors’ challenges are a trope, whether it’s tales about the physical demands of a tough shoot, or the responsibility of playing a real-life figure. But for Kate Winslet, her latest role came with a different kind of problem: She really didn’t like her character.
“I think I had to accept quite early on, that I was going to feel profoundly irritated by Ginny, all of the time,” Winslet said. “And, also, that I had to stay the right side of the line with her.”
Set on Coney Island in the 1950’s, Woody Allen’s “Wonder Wheel” follows Winslet’s Ginny, a perennially disappointed housewife who sees an opportunity to change her fortunes when she falls for a handsome local lifeguard (Justin Timberlake). It’s a questionable choice from the start, one made even more complicated by the sudden arrival of her stepdaughter Carolina (Juno Temple), who...

Imagine a world where Guillermo del Toro had creative control over the Dark Universe, Universal’s plan to build a franchise out of its various monster-film properties. The fledgling cinematic universe, modeled after Marvel’s success, was practically dead on arrival when “The Mummy” bombed earlier this summer. Speaking to TimesTalks, the director revealed his one career regret was turning down Universal’s offer to helm the Dark Universe. As “The Shape of Water,” del Toro’s riff on “Creature From the Black Lagoon,” enters the awards race buoyed by stellar reviews, it’s bittersweet to imagine what might have been.
