Riveting in spots. Watched it on AMC a few times. Felt I needed to change the channel a few times (after all I'm a girl! lol). Other than that. The only real criticism I have about the format was I would have preferred they hadn't panned out at the end (because of my eyes straining to see Red and Andy in their final interaction) although I understand the effect of course. There's so much in this movie. I liked the part when he was in solitary and he said he had Mr. Mozart for company and when the others didn't understand he indicated that the music was in his mind! I can relate to that very much!

It always makes me cry near the end especially when Robbie sings that lovely song to Julia. Also a character study (in a way). Unfortunately, I relate to the man she was going to marry: I think I'm about the same level of selfishness as this person is. His character is so blatantly hated (let's hope so!) for his unfaithfulness to his intended. It really makes one introspective if they're serious minded.
