The camellia flower is as closely identified with the house of Chanel as the double-c logo. Across the brand’s jewelry, textiles, and handbags, Coco Chanel’s favorite flower has been a fixture in the collections since the 1920s, crafted from everything from enamel to rubies. (The founding designer began adorning herself with a silk version of the bloom, which is said to symbolize faithfulness and longevity, in 1913.)
At the 2023 Met Gala, several stars stunned in ensembles that celebrated the camellia flower, paying homage to Chanel in honor of Monday night’s theme: Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty. Cardi B led the trend with a flourish, wearing an intricate black and white gown by Chinese designer Chen Peng (which was, notably, her second look of the night).

Tiffany & Co. has unveiled the first part of its new ad campaign, “About Love,” starring Beyoncé and Jay-Z. It marks the first time the couple has appeared in a campaign together.
A photo released on Monday morning shows Beyoncé wearing the 19th-century 128.54-carat Tiffany Diamond. She is just the fourth person to wear the iconic bauble and the first Black woman to do so. Lady Gaga wore it to the 2019 Oscars and Audrey Hepburn donned the diamond in publicity pics for 1961’s “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.”
Jay-Z wears Jean Schlumberger’s legendary Bird on a Rock brooch, reconstructed as a pair of one-of-a-kind cuff links. The entertainment superstars pose in front of Jean-Michel Basquiat’s 1982 painting “Equals Pi.” Beyoncé also posted additional images on her Instagram with a simple caption reading, “About Love.”

June Ambrose gets the award for most cringe-worthy moment at the 2019 Cfda Awards ... after making a monumental mental slip about the late Kate Spade. The costume designer and star of "Styled By June" was chatting up celebs arriving Monday night at the fashion awards show at the Brooklyn Museum -- which was live streamed -- when she made a shocking and insensitive gaffe. June was interviewing entrepreneur Hannah Bronfman and asked what designer she was wearing.

The go-to stylist for the stars June Ambrose made us reconsider her career choice this week. French Montana really wants to get the point across that he loves cake, but are socks with sandals necessary in doing so? Sandro Masmanidi returned only for a brief apology for last week’s volatile getaway scene (does “Please forgive me?” count as an apology?) on tonight’s Project Runway, but did that mean the 90 minutes were relatively drama-free? Hell no! Designer Ken Laurence fiercely stepped up as H.B.I.C. with not only a complete unwillingness to collaborate on yet another “unconventional materials” challenge with members of his own team, but a request for no other designers to look at him, outrageous ageism, and enough passive-aggressive facial expressions (pictured) to bring an all-new 2014 Lexus Is Sedan to a screeching halt.

We were nearly knocked off our stilettos when we heard VH1 didn't renew June Ambrose's sassy docu-soap "Styled By June." Who doesn't love watching fab makeovers of almost-forgotten stars like actor Jaleel White aka Steve Urkel and Danity Kane's Aubrey O'Day? Watching June whip them into shape with her renowned sartorial skills, some chicken soup for the fashionista's soul and plenty of hilarious commentary was a weekly must-see.

June helped the star totally transform her image, leaving her overly sexy look behind -- and she even convinced her to wear a bra for the first time Ever! Each week we watch while June Ambrose transforms one celebrity and helps them achieve a whole new image -- and while they all know they definitely need the help, they aren't always so receptive! On last night's episode of Styled By June, we watched while Aubrey O'Day fought with June, showed up late and didn't really want to trust the stylist at first -- but nothing was quite as shocking as when she admitted to never wearing bras! Aubrey was introduced to "glamouflage," (or learning how to blend into your environment rather than clearly sticking out as the hot mess in the room). Aubrey O'Day may have walked out of "Celebrity Apprentice" this week, but she was fully on board with June Ambrose's style suggestions on "Styled by June" (Mon., 9:30 p.m. Et on VH1). Ambrose's plan was dubbed "glamouflage," and it involved helping O'Day learn how to blend into her environment, rather than going for hot and sexy for everything.
This makeover was both for her overall career, and her stint on "Celebrity Apprentice." O'Day needs to be taken seriously if she wants to be taken seriously as a professional, so she needs to avoid flaunting cleavage in animal print dresses for business meetings.
But as things progressed, O'Day's resistance lessened. She agreed at one point to wear a bra for the first time ever, and ultimately got her on board with a complete style transformation, including a dramatic change of hair color. What probably helped was a positive reception to that red carpet appearance.

New York -- Stylist June Ambrose helped remake the image of Luther Vandross and Mariah Carey as they were preparing major comebacks, but there's one icon she didn't get to remake – Whitney Houston.
Working with Houston wasn't a pipe dream for Ambrose. With the singer readying a return to the spotlight with the upcoming movie, "Sparkle," and new music, it was a real possibility. But she died Feb. 11 on the eve of the Grammys at 48 of an accidental drowning, with heart disease and cocaine use as contributing factors.
"There were talks about it," Ambrose said in an interview Monday. "I really wanted to do Whitney Houston's comeback. ... I just felt like Whitney and I ... would have been great together."
Ambrose has already proven she's great with other A-listers: Her client list includes Will Smith, Jamie Foxx, Jay-z, Missy Elliott and Zoe Saldana, and she also was a stylist for "The X-Factor.
