All month long, Cynthia Bailey, Miesha Tate and Todrick Hall fought for their place to be on the “Celebrity Big Brother” winners list, and now it’s time to hand out the $250,000 grand prize. During Wednesday’s sixth episode of “Celebrity Big Brother 3,” Miesha Tate won Head of Household for the second time this season, and she nominated power couple Carson Kressley and Cynthia Bailey for eviction. However, just minutes after the nominations ceremony ended, Miesha’s ride-or-die Todrick Hall had his sights set on someone else.
“Miesha is set on taking out a big target, but maybe just maybe she’s missing a huge target that’s sitting right underneath her nose,” Todrick proclaimed in the diary room. “I want Miesha to be thinking in the back of her mind that Chris Kirkpatrick might be a good nominee. The games have begun!”

After being on the chopping block two weeks in a row, Olympic figure skater Mirai Nagasu said goodbye during the last live eviction episode. Heading into the first live eviction episode of “Celebrity Big Brother 3,” Head of Household Miesha Tate had nominated Mirai Nagasu (her true target) and Carson Kressley (just a pawn). But things quickly change within the ‘Bb’ house and it wasn’t long before Todrick Hall got in Miesha’s ear and convinced the Mma fighter that Carson was the real threat to win this game. With the crosshairs now on Carson (unbeknownst to him), the “Queer Eye” O.G. dominated the Veto competition and took himself off the block. Miesha had no choice but to replace Carson with Teddi Mellencamp, who she had guaranteed safety earlier in the week.
Host Julie Chen Moonves had a surprise up her sleeve at the live eviction ceremony. Cynthia Bailey was asked to come to the front of the living room and change the logo of her Mon Won hat upside down, to read Nom Now.

Teddi Mellencamp is no stranger to reality TV from her years on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but learned Big Brother: Celebrity Edition is a whole different ball game. The first star evicted from season 3 was sent packing after being voted out over Todd Bridges. When the cast initially made themselves at home it seemed things were going fine for the star. She was a part of “The Formation” alliance alongside Mirai Nagasu, Todrick Hall, Cynthia Bailey, Shanna Moakler, and Carson Kressley. Too bad Miesha Tate, first Head of Household (Hoh), saw her as an early threat from the start. Mellencamp thought she was safe after striking up a deal if she became Hoh down the road with the Mma fighter, but as they do on Bb, plans change. Not even the “Mon Won” “Nom Now” twist that pulled Nagasu off the chopping block could save her. Less than 24 hours outside the house,...

Big Brother: Celebrity Edition finally returned to CBS after three years.
The spinoff series of the long-running competition series made a splash with its premiere topping demo ratings on Wednesday night. Per fast affiliates, the CBS series nabbed a 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demo and 3.66 million viewers. The houseguests this season are Cynthia Bailey-Hill, Teddi Mellencamp, Todd Bridges, Todrick Hall, Chris Kattan, Carson Kressley, Shanna Moakler, Mirai Nagasu, Lamar Odom, Miesha Tate and Chris Kirkpatrick.
While Celebrity Big Brother‘s Season 3 debut marked yet another primetime win for CBS, the series was obviously significantly down from previous pre-pandemic premieres. Before Wednesday evening, the most recent season premiered in January 2019 and concluded in February 2019. Like most other primetime shows, Celebrity Big Brother took a pretty noticeable hit with the pandemic. For comparison, the series debut in February 2018 earned a 1.8 demo rating and 7.25 million viewers.

On Wednesday night, America’s most iconic front door will open once again, welcoming 11 people you’ve heard of before as the newest houseguests of “Celebrity Big Brother.” Series host Julie Chen Moonves will usher in athletes Lamar Odom, Miesha Tate and Mirai Nagasu, reality TV vets Cynthia Bailey, Shanna Moakler and Teddi Mellencamp, and TV and music performers Carson Kressley, Chris Kirkpatrick, Todrick Hall, Todd Bridges and Chris Kattan as they begin the craziest four weeks of their careers.
While the celebrity version of the 20+ year old show is shorter than normal, it will be no less intense. These celebs will have to hit the ground running, strategizing and playing as if every day is a live double eviction episode. And, hopefully, they’ve prepared by looking back at their peers that had success in the show’s first two seasons. Previously on “Celebrity Big Brother” … four years ago...

There has not been a “Big Brother” alum on a season of “Celebrity Big Brother” yet, but Julie Chen Moonves thinks one former houseguest is absolutely perfect for the celeb-ified version: Frenchie.
Yes, Frenchie (real name: Brandon French), who spectacularly imploded after becoming the first Head of Household on last summer’s “Big Brother 23,” promising everyone the moon and rubbing everyone the wrong way with a severe case of HOHitis, and was the second person evicted. But Chen Moonves believes the accelerated pace of “Celebrity Big Brother” — Season 3 lasts 15 days — suits Frenchie’s aggressive gameplay.
“This game was made for Frenchie,” she tells Entertainment Weekly. “He went in already with a plan. He was playing hard, and fast, and too much. And so what changes is that, yeah, you want to quickly be like, ‘Let’s hug, hug, hug. Cry, cry, cry. Fight, fight, fight. Get it out, compete, make a deal.

“Celebrity Big Brother” is finally back for its long-awaited third installment after being Mia in 2020 and 2021. Here’s everything you can, uh, expect from the new season.
Here are its premiere date and finale date.
“Celebrity Big Brother 3” will premiere on Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 8/7c and will wrap up on Wednesday, Feb. 23. That is a three-week run, which is in line with the first two seasons. Just like the first season was to the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, Season 3 will serve as counterprogramming to the Beijing Winter Olympics. In 2018, the Olympics started Feb. 9 and “Celebrity Big Brother” premiered Feb. 7. The Beijing Games kick off Feb. 4, so once again, “Celebrity Big Brother” will launch two days prior. Season 3 will have its work cut out for it on on Sunday, Feb. 13 because it’ll be up against the Olympics and the Super Bowl, both of which are carried by NBC.
When will the episodes air?...

“Celebrity Big Brother” returns Wednesday with its third season after being Mia the past two years, and while a lot of things have changed since 2019, one thing has remained the same: the show’s commitment to casting five “Dancing with the Stars” alums every season.
That’s right, for the third consecutive season, there is one whole hand’s worth of former celebrity hoofers-turned-celebrity houseguests. In “Celebrity Big Brother’s” inaugural installment in 2018, we got Shannon Elizabeth (Season 6), Chuck Liddell (Season 9), James Maslow (Season 18), Metta World Peace (Season 13) and Marissa Jaret Winokur (Season 6), who won. Season 2 featured Tamar Braxton (Season 21) — the American “Big Brother” franchise’s first Black winner — Jonathan Bennett (Season 19), Lolo Jones (Season 19), Joey Lawrence (Season 3) and Ryan Lochte (Season 23).

This February the “Big Brother” house will once again experience a celebrity takeover. Who among them is the most talented at deceiving their friends while still being liked?

You can stop ‘shipping Team Alanbama Hannah. Now that Season 28 of “Dancing with the Stars” is over and, you know, they’ve won, Alan Bersten is addressing those dating rumors about him and Hannah Brown — and they really are going to be just friends.
“I don’t think so,” Bersten told “People” when asked if they would ever date. “I think it’s just friends.”
Rumors started flying once the two were paired up together, given her “Bachelor/ette” history and the fact that Bersten (reluctantly) embarked on a cringe-worthy showmance last season with his partner Alexis Ren, after which he said he was “done” with showmances. Brown had always denied any romance between them, saying they were focused on dancing, which didn’t stop fans from speculating they might hook up after the season is over.

“Dancing with the Stars” was all over the place in season 28 with surprise eliminations and one uncoordinated contestant wearing out his welcome, but there was no surprise bigger than the elimination of James Van Der Beek in the Semi-Finals. I think the show should consider another all-star season, but this time the show should use it to give a second chance to stars like Van Der Beek who got screwed the first time around.
Van Der Beek’s ouster — the week his wife suffered a miscarriage, no less — will go down as one of the show’s worst, but since the show’s last all-star competition in season 15 he’s far from the only talented celeb dancer who went home way too soon. For instance, actress Elizabeth Berkley was one of the three best dancers of season 17 based on the judges’ scores, but she left the show in sixth place.

Going into next week’s “Dancing with the Stars” finals, all eyes are on the remaining celebs: Kel Mitchell, Lauren Alaina, Ally Brooke and Hannah Brown. But let’s not forget about their pro partners. Sharna Burgess got hers last year. Is it time for one of the guys to get theirs? Save for Val Chmerkovskiy, none of the male pros left on “Dancing with the Stars” this season have ever won the show before — and neither had first bootee Brandon Armstrong. Compare that to the female pros, all of whom have triumphed, including Cheryl Burke who left this week after Ray Lewis withdrew due to injury. Truly a case of the haves and the have-nots. Will a first-time guy break through this season? And if so, which one of these four dudes do you want to get their hands on a Mirrorball first?
In his seventh season as a pro, Gleb Savchenko debuted in Season 16 with Lisa Vanderpump, finishing 10th. His other placements have generally been toward the back of the pack, except for Season 23, where he made it to fourth place with Jana Kramer.

“The Bachelorette” star Hannah Brown was the first celeb to perform on the first night of “Dancing with the Stars” season 28 — no pressure, right? That’s never an enviable position to be in, but she made a strong first impression. Do you think she’s a top contender for the Mirror Ball Trophy? Watch her debut cha cha above.
Brown was paired with Alan Bersten, a relatively new pro dancer on “DWTS” who has competed three times before, finishing 12th with Debbie Gibson in season 25, but then improving all the way to 4th place with both Mirai Nagasu (season 26) and Alexis Ren (season 27). On the sixth episode of season 11 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” Scarlet Envy was eliminated. Will Sharna Burgess finally be the bride on “Dancing with the Stars” this season? That’s what our readers are hoping: 52 percent want her to take home the Mirrorball trophy for the first time.
Burgess, who’s partnered with Bobby Bones, is one of five pros left who’ve never won before, but she has the deepest resume of them all. A pro since Season 16, she’s has three runner-up placements — Nick Carter (Season 21), James Hinchcliffe (Season 23) and Josh Norman (Season 26) — and one third-place finish, with Noah Galloway in Season 20. Bones is certainly no lock for the final — he has the second lowest scores of the cast, but his unpredictable personality should buy them a few more weeks, and hopefully he can improve in that time. As long as he doesn’t piss off Burgess with his unplanned moves anymore.

The past three seasons of “Dancing with the Stars” were won by pros who had never won a Mirrorball trophy before: Emma Slater (Season 24), Lindsay Arnold (Season 25) and Jenna Johnson (Season 26). Will that streak continue this season? With Gleb Savchenko’s and Artem Chigvintsev’s exits, there are just five winless pros left. Which of them do you want to see go all the way?
Sharna Burgess is by far the most overdue. She’s been on the show since Season 16 and has three runner-up placements — Nick Carter (Season 21), James Hinchcliffe (Season 23) and Josh Norman (Season 26) — and one third-place finish, with Noah Galloway in Season 20. Burgess is also the only female pro this season who’s never won “Dancing” before. Partnered with Bobby Bones, she doesn’t have a ringer this time or a technically sound contender, but Bones’ enthusiastic personality and underdog role could get them far. That is,...

Model Alexis Ren will compete in the upcoming 27th season of “Dancing with the Stars,” which premieres on Monday night, September 24. She’s a superstar on social media, but will that fandom follow her to the dance floor? Let’s consider the pros and cons.

Pros
Models have a pretty solid track record on “DWTS.” Winners Kelly Monaco (season 1), Brooke Burke (season 7) and Nyle Dimarco (season 22) had backgrounds in modeling. And the nature of the profession usually requires you to stay fit. So Ren may have the athletic prowess to keep up with the intense physicality of the competition.
Fan votes determine half the results on “DWTS,” and Ren has a big head start in that regard. She has more than 12 million Instagram followers and more than 1.6 million Twitter followers. If even a fraction of those support her on the...

Mirai Nagasu would've tried to follow in the footsteps of Tiger Woods and Michelle Wie had she not pursued a career as a pro figure skater. At the 2018 Espy Awards on Wednesday, the 25-year-old Olympian talked to E! News' Sibley Scoles about her passion for golf. When asked what sport she would pursue if she wasn't a figure skater, Nagasu said, "I would pick golf. My parents put me in golf before I chose figure skating, but I would pick golf for the scholarships and because I would want to be the Michelle Wie of golf. But I chose figure skating instead." Nagasu golfed as a young child before discovering her love of skating. "It started raining...

“Dancing with the Stars” took a chance this past spring with a special all-athletes edition that lasted just four weeks. Responses to that were mixed to say the least, in large part because of the abbreviated schedule. But what about the choice of contestants? Should the show try another themed season bringing together celebrities with a common background? Scroll down to vote in our poll at the bottom of this post.
There have now been 11 athlete winners of “DWTS,” so doing an all-athletes season was a good fit. But singers have also done quite well. Recording artists like Drew Lachey (season 2), Nicole Scherzinger (season 10) and Kellie Pickler (season 16) have won the Mirror Ball Trophy in the past, so perhaps an entire singers season is in order. Given the success of boy-band and girl-group members, the show could probably assemble a roster for a “Boy Bands vs. Girl Groups” season with ease.

Jenna Johnson and Sharna Burgess couldn’t both win the Mirrorball trophy on ‘Dancing with the Stars: Athletes,’ but maybe they’ll both score Emmy nominations. They each received 28 percent of the vote from our readers in a recent poll asking with pro from Season 26 deserves a choreography nomination.
Neither Johnson nor Burgess have been shortlisted for a choreography Emmy, but eight “Dancing” pros have scored nominations while they were on the show. Derek Hough has won twice and choreographer Mandy Moore won last year for “Dancing” in a tie with “So You Think You Can Dance.”
Both Seasons 25 and 26 are eligible at the Emmys, but Johnson wasn’t on the fall installment. “Athletes” was only her second stint as a pro and she concocted some fantastic routines for Adam Rippon en route to their victory. Burgess, who’s still seeking her first “Dancing” triumph after 12 straight seasons, also played...

Mirai Nagasu isn’t the only one who considers Meryl Davis the queen. The ice dancer is our readers’ favorite Olympian who’s taken home the Mirrorball trophy, receiving 23 percent of the vote in a recent poll.
Davis, who dominated Season 18, is one of six Olympians who have won “Dancing.” Adam Rippon became No. 6 after Monday’s “Athletes” finale, joining Olympic champs Davis, Apolo Anton Ohno, Kristi Yamaguchi, Shawn Johnson and Laurie Hernandez.
Rippon was just behind Davis, with 20 percent. The Olympic bronze medalist is the first male figure skater and third overall to win. Previously, 2010 Olympic champ Evan Lysaeck placed second on Season 10 and Davis’ ice dancing partner Charlie White was fifth on Season 18.

Tied in third with 17 percent are Season 6 champ Yamaguchi and Season 23 winner Hernandez, respectively. Yamaguchi was the first figure skater to prevail,...
