“Blade Runner 2049” is gearing up for release on October 6, and with it comes 35 years of expectations and anticipation from die-hard fans of Ridley Scott’s iconic original. The film’s marketing has done a solid job at preserving spoilers and selling the movie’s jaw-dropping visuals, so all that’s left is for audiences to show up and be amazed at whatever Denis Villeneuve has in store.
Read More:Jared Leto Went So Method for ‘Blade Runner 2049’ That He Blinded Himself During Filming
The director has assembled an enviable cast and crew, which combines franchise stalwarts and newcomers alike. If Villeneuve can stay true to the original atmosphere while crafting a unique adventure, he should have no problem making “Blade Runner 2049” just as much of a sci-fi classic for this generation as “Blade Runner” was for the last.
Here’s everything you need to know about the sequel before seeing it.

Arriving in theaters this weekend, and subsequently on Blu-ray/DVD/VOD next week is writer/director Tommy Stovall’s unique vampire tale, Aaron’s Blood, which follows a struggling single father (James Martinez) who will stop at nothing to try and help his son Tate (Trevor Stovall), who has begun to exhibit signs of vampirism after an accident sends him to the hospital.
During the interview, Stovall chatted about what inspired him to take such an unusual approach to creating a new cinematic vampire story, how Aaron’s Blood became something of an allegory for the struggles all parents face when raising their children—especially as they get older and begin to slip away—and what he took away from his experiences working on the film.
Look for Aaron’s Blood in theaters this Friday, as well as on VOD, Blu-ray, and DVD on Tuesday, June 6th, courtesy of Gravitas Ventures.

Kotb's smile faded and she lifted her hands up in surprise after Kelly did not mention her name. She later carried on as usual, laughing good-naturedly at Kelly's...

Benjamin Bratt is like the train that just keeps on chugging. Looking at his face you’d never, ever think this guy is 53 years-old, but at the same time it feels like he’s been a Hollywood Star for decades. Oh right, that’s because he has. Technically he got his start in 1987 but I think it was his role in the movie “Blood in Blood Out” that really got him going. Currently Bratt is playing Jahim Rivera on the Fox show Star which just got renewed for a second season. I decided to take a look back at some of

When Justin Bieber and Skrillex’s new track, “Sorry,” hit the airwaves last week, the Edm community as a whole (including us) embraced the moombahton-pop crossover a lot more than any of us could have been expected. In typical Skrillex/Bieber fashion, they’ve opted to sustain the current level of buzz around the track for as long as possible by releasing a video of them performing the song with nothing more than an acoustic guitar.
In the black-and-white video, Skrillex and Bieber are accompanied by “Sorry” co-producer and co-writer Blood in a nondescript loft. A series of thinly disguised hard cuts tie together footage of the seemingly impromptu session into one continuous play through of the song – which hardly detracts from its mystique as Bieber demonstrates that his vocal chops are as finely tuned as ever.

I sat down with Oscar-winning screenwriter, actor, director and musician Billy Bob Thornton for Venice Magazine in October of 2001. He had a slate of very diverse projects he was promoting: his first solo music album, "Private Radio," as well as the films "Monster's Ball," "Bandits," and "The Man Who Wasn't There." My strongest memory is of Thornton's quiet intensity and an undercurrent of Southern affability, which came out once he decided you were okay. He seemed to feel that way about me after I shared with him my idolatry of legendary filmmaker Fred Zinnemann, something we shared. I also remember his unusual diet, when our lunch was served. Thornton got the biggest plate of sliced papaya I've seen to date, artfully presented. I got a seafood salad. He looked at my plate, smiled, and told me about the horrible shellfish allergy he'd been saddled with all his life, and how...

Solid ground doesn’t exist in the cinema of Jaume Collet-Serra and Liam Neeson. Theirs is an action cinema of distress where the mental instability of each protagonist blurs the boundaries of seemingly tight spatial parameters. Conflict unfolds violently and manipulatively within manmade (and psychological) bubbles, as vast as the multiple boroughs of New York City or as small as the cramped fuselage of a passenger jet. There is no escape, only the desperate and unflinching pursuit of truth, moral direction, and family safety. The bad guys often win, but the good guys always gain closure.Angular compositions and desperate tracking shots populate 2011’s Unknown, 2014’s Non-Stop, and 2015’s Run All Night. Images overlap, tip, ascend and dive to visualize the world as one big box of quick sand. The camera propels through space like a boomerang, challenging logic and defying gravity with reckless abandon. Every step forward brings us...

Even the name “Hollows Grove” doesn’t sound like a pleasant place to visit.
In a found footage-style horror film, it follows a group of paranormal activity investigators into a haunted children’s hospital.
Here’s the full synopsis:
A young filmmaker, Harold Maxwell is filming a behind-the-scenes documentary about his friends - the Spirit and Paranormal Investigation Team, (S.P.I.T) and their ghost hunting reality show. Harold joins the S.P.I.T crew as they head out to their next assignment, to film an old, abandoned and supposedly haunted orphanage, Hollows Grove. Soon after arriving at the orphanage the team begins to realize that what they thought would be a routine investigation is turning in to a nightmare from which they can’t escape.
The cast includes Lance Henriksen, Matt Doherty, Sunkrish Bala, Mikelti Williamson, Val Morrison, Matthew Carey and Bresha Webb. It is the feature...

Did Zygon Sister Lamont and Zygon Caber have a bit of a relationship going on? There's a bit in Terror Of The Zygons Part Three when the dastardly duo pause to look forward to regressing back to their natural form – but Zygon Caber certainly seems to have an eye for a Zygon in nurse's uniform, tenderly leading Zygon Lamont with an arm around the shoulder.
Or how about the relationship between Mr and Mrs Axon? Now with two golden kids in tow, their relationship seems to be on the wane. Not a word is spoken between these two, and to make matters worse, Mrs Axon retreats into the wall with a harrumphing balloon blow-up. Clearly, Mr Axon is destined to be all alone on the plastic sofa this evening. Duping gullible bureaucrats may be a good gambit for taking over the world, but it sure plays havoc with the love life.

Reports surfaced Friday claiming Whoopi Goldberg referred to Barbara Walters as a “cranky 85-year-old woman” during a test screening Thursday for new “View” co-hosts, but ABC insists it never happened at all. Fargo opened with a shot of an overturned snowmobile and a gaping whole in the center of cracked ice in the middle of nowhere, as the sounds of Lester breathing heavily serves as the soundtrack.
'Fargo' Finale Recap
Away from the cracked ice, Lester (Martin Freeman) is sitting in his car glancing over at Nygaard Insurance, where he just witnessed the murder of his second wife – who he tricked into taking a bullet for him. He pulls out his gun, takes the keys out of the ignition and heads over to the building. Lester walks in to find Linda (Susan Park) dead, her blood pooling on the floor around his red parka. Stepping over her body, he goes to the safe to take his passport, then reconsiders his plan and puts the keys to his car in Linda’s hand and goes to the diner.
