The Marvel Cinematic Universe has done an impeccable job of carving out a niche for even the most obscure Marvel characters. From Iron Man to Star-Lord, the McU has become a welcoming home to any character hailing from deep within the Marvel lore. As a result of this, director James Gunn may soon bring one of the all-time most iconic – and notorious – Marvel characters back to the silver screen in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Of course, I’m talking about none other than Howard the Duck. According to a brand new report from On Location Vacations, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has apparently just filmed a scene involving the notorious Marvel character Howard the Duck. The report didn’t indicate the capacity of Howard the Duck’s part in the upcoming sequel; all it tells is us that writer/director James Gunn may ...

We've already written about how Sylvester Stallone might pop up in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but now there's a rumor that potentially gives details about what kind of role he'll have in the film. Turn back now if you don't want to have the surprise ruined for you, because there are possible Spoilers ahead.
ComingSoon relays a report from a site called On Location Vacations, who claim that their source has seen Stallone on the Atlanta set of the film, and that "His costume looks a lot like Judge Dredd.” Before you start thinking there's a crossover in the works, keep in mind that A) Marvel doesn't own the rights to Judge Dredd, and B) Stallone isn't the most recent actor to play that character — he portrayed him in 1995's Judge Dredd, but the most recent man to wear the mask was Karl Urban in the 2012 film Dredd.

Evidence continues to mount that Sylvester Stallone has a cameo role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, after the Creed star was spotted on the sequel’s Atlanta set late last week.
News first came to light via New York Daily News, citing that Stallone on his way to the set, but today’s report hints that the actor may be sporting a rather familiar costume – incidental, of course, but familiar nonetheless. Minor spoilers to follow.

Only a few days ago came word that Sylvester Stallone looked set to be a part of the currently in production "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2". The "Creed" actor was spotted around the Atlanta set of the film and even using at least one of the cars shuttling around key cast members.
Today, On Location Vacations has added to the report saying that not only does Stallone have a role in the film, but that his costume "looks a lot like Judge Dredd" - the iconic comic book character the actor played in the 1995 film adaptation. Dredd is a 2000 Ad character, not a Marvel character, so should he appear it will Not be as the character - but could look very similar.
The site also reports that scenes shot last week for the film include the return of the Howard the Duck character seen in the first film's post-credit scene.

A few days ago, it was reported that Sylvester Stallone was seen heading to the set of Guardians Of The Galaxy.
While it seemed clear that Stallone would be playing a role of some sort, it wasn't clear what the role would be. Would be a cameo, or something even bigger?
A recent report from On Location Vacations hints that his appearance may skew on the cameo side of things. According to one of the outlet's sources, “His costume looks a lot like Judge Dredd.”
Considering Judge Dredd isn't even a Marvel character, I think we can rule out the possibility that he actually is Dredd. However, given the playful tone in Guardians Of The Galaxy, along with James Gunn's sense of humor, I can definitely see Stallone playing a character very much inspired by Dredd. While they can't call him Dredd, I can see them calling him a...

The other day we reported that Sylvester Stallone had been sighted leaving a hotel in Atlanta near where James Gunn is currently shooting his Guardians of the Galaxy sequel. Apparently the Creed actor was seen entering a vehicle usually used by Chris Pratt to travel to and from the set, with a copy of the movie's script in his hand. Now while not all of that has been verified, it seems like pretty compelling evidence that Sly is going to have something to do with the movie, and now On Location Vacations reckon they've confirmed that he is indeed in Gotg Vol. 2. Their source tells them that he was on set in a costume that looked a lot like a character Stallone has previously played, Judge Dredd. "Now, this week, we’ve confirmed with someone on the set that Sylvester Stallone has indeed been filming scenes for Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

The Web Of Fear was commissioned after a positive response to The Abominable Snowmen by then Story Editor (soon-to-be Producer) Peter Bryant, with the intention that it would close out Doctor Who’s fifth season. Rewrites for Fury From The Deep resulted in it becoming the penultimate story (one of many variables that resulted in Nicholas Courtney playing the role of Colonel Lethbridge-Stewart). Previously available as an audio soundtrack narrated by Fraser Hines, the film of The Web Of Fear was returned to the BBC archives in 2013.

Visiting a movie set is always an adventure into the unknown. Will you be on a sound stage or oudoors? On location or in the comfort of a climate controlled warehouse? In the case of Lionsgate’s “The Last Witch Hunter” last November, the answer was weirdly…“yes.” It was a cold day in Pittsburgh when the publicist herded us onto the bus to see Breck Eisner’s vision for a world of witches and those who hunt them. I’d been told to dress for the weather and be prepared for a long day, none of which sounded appealing. Who wants to be outside for twelve hours in sub-freezing temperature? No one. Driving through a Pittsburgh forest stripped bare for the winter, Lionsgate had other plans. We were about to enter the literal underground world of “The Last Witch Hunter.” Pittsburgh is rich with abandoned limestone mines like the one converted by Wampum Underground.

Premiering at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival where it went home empty handed from the Jane Campion headed jury, Belgian directing duo Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne continue their more recent trend of working with critically acclaimed French actresses, concocting one of their most emotionally potent titles to date, Two Days, One Night. Star Marion Cotillard would lose twice to American actress Julianne Moore in the international awards area, who trumped her at Cannes for Maps to the Stars and at the Academy Awards for Still Alice. Still, it’s an increasingly intense boil of a performance, ranging from quiet desperation to an act of selfless defiance that will transcend the trappings of any such contemporary award recognition.
Married and a mother of two, Sandra (Cotillard) has recently returned to work after a period of sick leave following a bout of depression. In her absence, management at Solwal, a local solar panel company,...

Copenhagen’s Cph Pix (April 9-22) will be bookended by films from two Danish directors shooting in the UK – Jeppe Ronde’s Welsh teen suicide drama Bridgend [pictured] and Thomas Vinterberg’s Thomas Hardy adaptation, Far From The Madding Crowd.
The audience-focused Cph Pix will show 130 feature films during 420 screenings and events.
Festival director Jacob Neiiendam said: “Artistically it’s a strong year for Danish cinema.”
Indeed, three Danish debut features will screen at Pix. “The first features from Thomas Daneskov [The Elite], Anna Sofie Hartmann [Limbo] and Jeppe Rønde showcase a diversity and nerve we have been missing in our fiction films, and they are just the tip of the iceberg,” added Neiiendam.
“We always wanted the festival to be a platform for local films which wouldn’t play well with regular releases, and this year we’ve been flooded with films produced outside the standard support system - and they are good films.”

The image above is taken from the upcoming Halloween Complete Collection — specifically from the newly restored “Producer’s Cut” of Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers — and it’s just one of the reason’s why horror fans should be ridiculously excited for this release. Until now the only way to see this version of the film which includes 43 minutes of alternate footage and a different ending was via bootleg DVDs and VHS tapes. The difference in picture clarity is astounding and can be glimpsed further down the page. The entire Halloween film series is captured in this box-set including all eight original films, TV edits of the first two films, the alternate cut of the sixth film and both of Rob Zombie’s reboots. Some of the films have seen HD transfers already from Anchor Bay and Scream Factory, but now the two labels are joining forces to give that same treatment to each entry in...

Resurrection Season One DVD Review
Resurrection seems like the epitome of a series that didn’t expect to last past the first four episodes. When I wrote my original review of the show, and gave it a high rating, I said the show’s great weakness to that point was that it didn’t seem to want to commit to how weird it was going to be. It creates an opening within the first few episodes that leave viewers unable to be confident that it is about to lean toward the very weird, or toward an almost straight, “normal” drama that just happens to involve very abnormal events.
That isn’t even a problem in one sense, because not knowing where things are going isn’t a bad theory. Where it becomes tricky is insofar as viewers want to know just how goofy the twists and turns are apt to become.

We told you earlier of a cool contest that Zoya Akhtar and producer Ritesh Sidhwani were having while on the shoot for Dil Dhadakne Do. The cast that includes Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra and Shefali Shah will all be taking photographs during the shoot. Since they are on a ship for the shoot and will tour some of the most beautiful cities in the world, including Barcelona, Florence, Rome and Naples these shots will be amazing.
They will be capturing locations also all the behind the scene moments. Once the shoot gets over, Zoya and Ritesh will announce a winner amongst them. The captured pictures will also be part of the marketing of the film. It will be turned into a kind of digital travelogue
Ranveer and Priyanka have been sharing some of the shots on social media and we thought we would share them directly with you.

Colin Trevorrow has been in Hawaii shooting portions of Jurassic World in some of the original locations Jurassic Park filmed in. A lush, beautiful environment; Hawaii was the perfect stand in for Costa Rica, where dinosaurs could roam around and not bother any humans that weren't foolish enough to venture into a theme park that the Gods were destined to have fun with. Recent news indicates that the production of the film, much like The Lost World: Jurassic Park, is bringing it back to the mainland. The dinosaurs are coming to New Orleans, and if you're brave enough, you could be one of many to pretend to be next to them. On Location Vacations was eagle eyed enough to spot the scoop detailing a casting notice for a new Steven Spielberg movie: "Ebb Tide", a Steven Spielberg film, needs men and women (18yrs-75yrs) who are available to work: 6/6, and...

Francis Ford Coppola, who turns 75 today, is a paragon of artistic integrity in a commercial industry. Though many associate his name with big Hollywood success, he’s actually better defined as a low-budget guru and proponent of creative risk-taking. Coppola worked his way to the top. Hired as an assistant by Roger Corman fresh out of film school, Coppola demonstrated extraordinary zeal and perseverance on and off the set. Corman, increasingly impressed with Coppola’s efforts, continued to afford him opportunities to prove himself. On location in Ireland in 1963, Coppola found himself in possession of $40,000 in leftover funds from one of Corman’s films. With Corman’s blessings, the enterprising young filmmaker wrote a feature film overnight and directed it over the next nine days. The product was “Dementia 13,” which recouped its expenses at the box office and remains a cult horror classic today. Taxing circumstances became emblematic of Coppola’s career.

Finally Jurassic World is being constructed! Well at least the sets of it are. Read on for details and the first images from an area that will soon be crawling with dinosaurs... glorious dinosaurs!
According to a tipster who submitted images to On Location Vacations:

Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, and Nick Robinson are in various stages of talks to star. Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) penned the script with Derek Connolly and will direct the film. Plot details are being kept under wraps,...

New Batman Vs Superman filming, script and Batmobile details revealed by new insider. According to a new report from Batman News and their sources, some new intel has been revealed about the new "Batman Vs. Superman" super hero/action flick. It turns out that director, Zack Snyder, and the cast will be filming at the Michigan Motion Picture Studios in Pontiac around mid-March 2014. On location shoots in Michigan aren’t scheduled to start up until at least, “late Spring.” Dr. Detroit also suggests that the big football scene which Zack Snyder shot last fall 2013, will be cut out of the movie. Ben Affleck’s Oscar winning Argo writer, Chris Terrio, has been brought in to re-write a majority of the Batman vs. Superman script and a lot of the content has indeed been changed. To conclude their report, they mentioned the new Batmobile, claiming it's currently in Los Angeles and is being filmed.
