The Conners Boss Shares Katey Sagal's Season 3 Plea to Producers: 'Do Not Hire a New Girlfriend for Dan'
Katey Sagal is not leaving Lanford without a fight (or at the very least an impassioned plea to The Powers That Be).

In the wake of the Married With Children vet’s ABC drama Rebel scoring a 10-episode series order, The Conners‘ showrunner Bruce Helford reveals to TVLine that Sagal sent him a note insisting that the new gig would not preclude her from continuing in her role as Dan’s main squeeze Louise.

By Mark Cerulli

After 30+ years as a 007 collector, I understand collecting… how amassing items connected to a movie series or iconic character gets into the blood and forces you to disregard common sense when pursuing a must-have. Like most collectors, I have always been constrained by two factors – money and time. Now imagine a collector who isn’t bothered by either, who has a deep passion for horror and even deeper pockets to acquire almost anything available. Meet Richard “Rich” Correll!

A native Californian, Correll started his career as a child actor on Leave It to Beaver, practically growing up on the Universal lot. “Jerry Mathers is one of my best friends,” he notes. Rich found himself drawn to Universal’s Makeup Department where he became fascinated by the appliances and masks used in

Married With Children Cast: 10 Best Roles, Ranked (According To IMDb)
Married...With Children was one of those shows that people either loved or hated. It’s not hard to see why it was so polarizing. After all, it seemed to take a lot of joy in pushing buttons and in being as vulgar as possible. Despite its low-brow primetime ethos, it was actually a very funny show, with some surprisingly complex performances from its cast. From Peggy to Al, Bud to Kelly, these were characters that in some ways managed to transcend the sitcom formula.

Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini: Comedy’s New Perfect Pair Get Television Academy Recognition (Column)
Lucy and Ethel. Mary and Rhoda. Laverne and Shirley. Patsy and Edina. Abbi and Ilana. Television comedy has boasted plenty of amazing duos over the years, and now you should add another one to the mix: Jen and Judy, the lead characters of Netflix’s “Dead to Me.”

Television Academy members are on board, having included both Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini in the lead comedy actress category this year. That’s an improvement over 2019, when voters only recognized Applegate in the show’s freshman run.

Created by Liz Feldman, “Dead to Me” is a dark comedy that centers on Jen (Applegate), a recent widow who’s befriended by Judy (Cardellini) at a support group. The two become besties, but it all falls apart when Jen learns that Judy was partially involved in her husband’s death. From there, the body count rises — and so do the secrets. Jen and

Late Night Hosts Call Out President Donald Trump’s Mount Rushmore Demands, Latest Executive Orders
Trevor Noah said he thinks carving President Trump into the South Dakota mountainside might make Mount Rushmore “the monument that finally brings all of America together.”

The Daily Show host’s terms, however, are that the carving must be off Trump’s rear end.

“Why does it have to be a face? Let’s throw Trump’s tennis ass up there,” Noah joked.

The President’s proposal to have his face carved alongside those of the nation’s founding fathers was a topic of conversation for late night hosts, as was Trump’s latest round of executive orders.

On Saturday, the president signed four executive orders aimed at providing American citizens with continued pandemic relief. During his New Jersey press briefing, Trump said he intends to extend the rental moratorium, unemployment benefits, student loan forgiveness and roll back payroll tax.

During Monday’s episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers,

The Top Ten Seasons Of Married With Children Ranked According To IMDb
The Fox network launched as a viable fourth network in the Spring of 1987. One of its anchoring TV shows was the now classic, Married...With Children. The series was meant to be completely different than ever other wholesome eighties sitcom that populated the airwaves.

Like many sitcoms, there are dozens of episodes that stand out as classics and then some that don’t hold up. Married...With Children is one of the rare sitcoms that changed a cast member and barely lost any steam. But the series did get sillier once Jefferson came aboard. Here are the top ten seasons of Married...With Children, ranked according to IMDb.

Married With Children: 10 Things About Al That Would Never Fly Today

Married With Children: 10 Things About Al That Would Never Fly Today
Married With Children is one of those comedies that could only have emerged at a very specific moment in time. In this case, this was the early 1990s, when the new Fox network was trying to establish its own brand identity.

Centering on the character of Al, played by Ed O’Neill, the series was known for pushing the envelope in terms of what was acceptable fare for network television. Al himself was, in many ways, the distillation of all that was wrong with American masculinity. As such, there are quite a few aspects of his character that would definitely never see the light of day if the series were made today.

Bobcat Goldthwait Talks Setting Fires, Robin Williams and More on World's Best Dad Podcast
The World's Best Dad podcast is back with their second episode. This week, hosts Christian Jacobs and Jimmy Arrighi return in the bus, where they get into some crazy stories with legendary filmmaker Bobcat Goldthwait. The comedian gets into the time he set The Tonight Show's couch on fire, which earned him quite a bit of free publicity. Well, it wasn't exactly free. He was fined nearly $3,000 and had to do some PSAs too. Luckily, he was never really barred from the show, despite rumors he was banned for life.

In addition to the infamous Tonight Show fires, Bobcat Goldthwait talks about growing up and learning humor from his dad, touring and opening up for Kurt Cobain and Nirvana (on what would become the band's last shows in the United States), his best pal Robin Williams, being a dad and much more. Goldthwait even talks about how much Martin Scorsese enjoyed Shakes the Clown,

Steve Bing, Producer and ‘Kangaroo Jack’ Writer, Dies by Suicide at 55
Steve Bing, a producer, philanthropist and screenwriter, has died by suicide in Los Angeles. He was 55.

Police and the coroner’s office said a man fitting his age jumped from a Century City apartment building on Monday. Sources told TMZ he had been suffering from depression.

Bing, who inherited a fortune of some $600 million from his grandfather, L.A. real estate developer Leo S. Bing, also contributed millions of dollars to Democratic political causes.

After receiving his inheritance at the age of 18, Bing dropped out of Stanford to try out the movie business. While he was still a high school student at Harvard-Westlake, he wrote the story for “Missing in Action” and later wrote an episode of “Married With Children.”

In 2003, he co-wrote the action comedy “Kangaroo Jack,” starring Anthony Anderson and Jerry O’Connell.

Bing invested some $80 million in “The Polar Express,” the Tom Hanks-voiced 2004 film directed by Robert Zemeckis.

Elijah Wood Signs On For New Ted Bundy Movie

Elijah Wood Signs On For New Ted Bundy Movie
There will never be a shortage of interest in serial killers and murderers. We’ve long been fascinated by some notorious men for some of the unspeakable things they did and the internet is a great tool for deep-diving into the subject. While some are drawn to such cases out of morbid curiosity, perhaps the greater interest comes from a psychological point of view. Why do they do the things that they do? What’s going on inside their heads that trigger that violent impulse?

As I said, the fascination is endless. In fact, just last year, we got three separate movies examining some aspect of the Manson family and we also got two films about Ted Bundy, the documentary series Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes and the feature, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile. Ironically, they were both directed by Joe Berlinger.

Sons Of Anarchy: Gemma's 10 Biggest Mistake That We Can All Learn From
On September 2008, The Sons of Anarchy exploded on our television screens in Kurt Sutter’s vision of a riveting story of an outlaw motorcycle gang. For seven seasons, viewers bear witness to some of the most violent storylines, insane characters, and plot betrayals in modern American television broadcasting history. The integral part of all the mayhem was the matriarch, Gemma Teller Morrow.

Unfortunately, her strength was also her weakness. She would do anything for her family that often led to substantial irrevocable miscalculations. Here are ten big mistakes made by

Katey Sagal To Star In Erin Brockovich-Inspired Drama ‘Rebel’ From Krista Vernoff Picked Up To Pilot By ABC
Katey Sagal has signed on for the title role in Rebel, a drama inspired by the life of activist Erin Brockovich today, which has received a pilot order at ABC. Executive produced by Brockovich, Rebel hails from Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 executive producer/showrunner Krista Vernoff, Davis Entertainment, Sony Pictures TV and ABC Studios.

Sagal had been the most sought after actress at ABC in the early stages of 2020 pilot season. The network had been high on the Sons of Anarchy and Married… with Children alumna since last season when it ordered her comedy starring vehicle Nana to pilot. The project did not go but ABC remained in business with Sagal, tapping her for arcs on Grand Hotel and The Conners. And this month, I hear ABC brass sent Sagal virtually all of their hottest scripts for her to choose from. She picked Rebel.

The Erin Brockovich drama, which had a put pilot commitment,
