The snake-haired villainess performed a pitch-perfect rendition of “Happier Than Ever” during the season premiere and left the judges “speechless.” She returned in Episode 2 with “Dancing Queen” and won the crown yet again. Medusa then performed “New York, New York” in Episode 3, but lost the vote to California Roll, however she was saved by the “Ding Dong Keep It On” Bell and won the comeback competition. She then advanced from the quarter-finals and the semi-finals, which means she will appear in the season finale. Do You know who she is? Read on for the judges’ “The Masked Singer” Medusa guesses.

British singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding, who is known for chartbusters such as ‘Love Me Like You Do and ‘I Need Your Love, has shared the details of her fifth studio album ‘Higher Than Heaven. The album is packed with infectious hits that see Ellie’s signature vocals take centre stage while the production is pop music at its finest with stomping basslines, synths and euphoric melodies.
Speaking about the new album, Ellie said, “There was definitely a darkness about [the past two years] that was palpable in the studio, with everyone having gone through it differently. I think for that reason, nobody wanted to sit and agonise over some relationship or some drama.”
She added, “So that’s how this album came together. (‘Higher Than Heaven’ is) about being passionately in love. But it’s a hyper form of love, almost like a drug-induced feeling. It feels almost artificial and there’s the potential for a crash.

“I see a lot of rich people here!” said Jodie Turner-Smith as she took to the stage to open the Venice Film Festival AmfAR gala and auction held Wednesday evening in the Arsenale, a former shipyard complex on the edge of the city’s Grand Canal.
Urging guests to be generous, Turner-Smith, who looked stunning in a yellow corset top, reminded everyone that, “It’s easy to forget that AIDS still remains one of the world’s most serious health threats.”
Though undoubtedly lower key than the event held at Cannes, AmfAR Venice had its fair share of glamour and star power with Heather Graham, Patricia Clarckson, Marisa Tomei and Rachel Brosnahan among chairs.

The 30-year-old British pop star admits that upon gaining fame for her 2010 song, "Lights," she started to question her worth as a musician. "My new life as a pop star certainly wasn’t as glamorous as all my friends from home thought. Secretly, I was really struggling physically and emotionally," Goulding confides to well + good. The first official trailer for Fifty Shades Darker — the sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey — has been released. A cover of Beyoncé's "Crazy in Love" by Miguel soundtracks the clip. It mirrors the slowed down remix of "Crazy" used in original first Fifty Shades of Grey trailers.
The film sequel of the romance phenomenon explores Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) trying to rekindle his troubled relationship with Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson). He woos her with a new arrangement that leaves behind Grey's dominant side. Over the course of the clip, they're...

Tove Lo has quickly become one of the hottest acts in music. Ever since the release of her debut, Queen of the Clouds, in 2014, she has been touring around the world, topping the charts with singles “Talking Body” and “Habits (Stay High),” and even nabbing a Grammy Award nomination for co-writing Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do.” The Swedish pop singer is planning to keep the success moving with her next record, Lady Wood, and just released a new song, “Influence,” in promotion of it on Apple Music.
“Influence” is mellow and beat heavy, with Tove Lo’s soothing vocals supporting the verses as they lead into a stripped down but still effective chorus. The main selling point of “Influence,” however, is the guest spot from rapper Wiz Khalifa. Khalifa, who’s been fairly busy on the feature front so far in 2016, delivers a rapid fire verse and...

Her career couldn’t be hotter, but Ellie Goulding needs to take some time to heal after splitting up with Dougie Poynter last month.
The “Love Me Like You Do” songstress told press she’ll finish her current Delirium tour and then plans to put her musical pursuits on hold for awhile.
Ellie explained, "When you're in the public eye, it seems like you're able to deal with stuff better than anyone else, which is not remotely true. I'm not in a relationship anymore and that's been hard. I'm not writing new stuff. I'm not sure when I'll release a new album. It might not even be next year. I need time off for my own head. I don't really have that much of a social life because of what I do. You tend to meet people just in this world. It seems like I've had relationships with people who...

Ellie Goulding wants to set the record straight about her love life...again. The 29-year-old "Love Me like You Do" singer talked to Seventeen magazine, which features her on the cover of its April 2016 issue, about her past relationship with One Direction member Niall Horan, 22, and rumors involving another pop star, Ed Sheeran, 25. Goulding and Horan sparked romance rumors in 2013 and dated briefly. They reunited in December at 106.1 Kiss FM's Jingle Ball 2015. "We're still friends," she told Seventeen. "We went on a few dates, and it was really fun. He's a really, really lovely guy. He's got the biggest sense of humor,...

Have you ever wondered how the gorgeous couple first met? Well, you can thank their mutual friend Ellie Goulding for that. The "Love Me Like You Do" singer, who romanced Calvin once upon a time, introduced the pair backstage at the Elle Style Awards in February 2015, where an eagle-eyed Instagram user says he caught the lovebirds interacting for the first time, along with Sam Smith. Although Taylor appears to be, um, sizing up her future boyfriend, it's clear he passed the test. Of the first meeting, Ellie told The Sun, "I did play matchmaker, that's true. Calvin is a really great mate and he's so fantastic,...

These ladies can siiiiiing. Grammy-nominated singers Andra Day and Ellie Goulding slayed their collaboration at the 2016 Grammys. With a mash-up of Day's soaring "Rise Up" and Goulding's "Love Me Like You Do," the two vocalists harmonized as they belted out their respective hits for the crowd at the 58th Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Following an introduction from Selena Gomez, Day was a vision in white taking the stage solo at the top of the performance, as she was illuminated in spotlight and began belting her song while accompanied on piano. She was then joined by Goulding in a shimmering black number, who broke out in her ballad from the Fifty...

What do you think of the Oscar nominations? Here are my gripes:
Steven Spielberg -- a strong showing for "Bridge of Spies" (6 nominations) but no love for Spielberg!
Ridley Scott -- "The Martian" received 7 noms but alas, Scott is left in Mars!
Carol -- received 4 noms but no Best Picture or Director for Todd Haynes
The Hateful Eight -- say what you want about Quentin Tarantino but it has one of the most original screenplays in 2015, yet no nomination for that category
Aaron Sorkin -- Golden Globe winner but Not an Oscar nominee
Jacob Tremblay -- I was rooting for this fantastic child actor! Without him, "Room" would have been empty!
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" -- Just relegated to the technical categories...bad bad Academy!
"Straight Outta Compton" -- one nomination...yup, just one! For Best Original Screenplay. Clearly, the Academy has no idea of what to do with this fantastic film!

The Academy has unveiled the new posters and TV spots for the 88th Oscars (Feb. 28, 2016).
The 2016 Oscar campaign illustrates the emotional power of movies and their ability to inspire all of us to achieve our dreams. Movies remind us that imagination is limitless. The Oscar is, at once, a representation of excellence in film and a tangible symbol that dreams can–and do–come true.

The 2016 Golden Globe Awards were held last night; it was a long one but thanks to host Ricky Gervais, it was anything but boring. The Revenant was the big winner at the Golden Globes taking home the coveted Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Director awards, painting a clear front-runner for the Oscar nominations later this week.
Host Ricky Gervais was back for another round of hosting duties, having last hosted in 2012, with Hollywood welcoming him back on stage with open arms. The awards show kicked off with a Best Supporting Actress win for Kate Winslet in the decades-spanning Steve Jobs.

With his performance as Hugh Glass, a fur trader who seeks revenge after being left for dead, DiCaprio is considered the Oscar front-runner for Best Actor. Golden Globes: Michael Fassbender. 2016 Golden Globes winners, as they're announced The Golden Globes will be hosted once again by Ricky Gervais, who stirred up quite a to-do a few years ago with his three few-holds-barred, back-to-back gigs (2010–2012). At the time, Gervais roasted the rich and famous (and not so-famous) ceremony attendees (and several non-attendees), implying, at times without naming names, that Hollywood Scientologists (Tom Cruise and John Travolta) were gay, that Jodie Foster was a lesbian (a juvenile, cringeworthy joke about Foster's box office flop The Beaver, starring Mel Gibson), that Madonna was hardly like her song “Like a Virgin” (for which he got a rebuke), and so on. Expect more of same this year for the entertainment of those who can only wish they were rich and famous and getting drunk at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills this evening. Who's going to win? The Golden Globes ceremony...

Years after Ricky Gervais roasted Mel Gibson at an earlier Globes show the pair hugged on stage when the Australian introduced footage from Mad Max: Fury Road.
Prior to introducing Gibson, Gervais, tongue firmly in his cheek, referred to previous bad blood between the pair. “I’m sure it’s embarrassing for both of us and I blame NBC for this terrible situation.”
After the embrace Gibson turned to the comedian and said: “I love seeing Ricky once every three years because it reminds me to get a colonoscopy.”
A subsequent exchange was bleeped out.
The Martian was named best musical or comedy. Ridley Scott accepted the award and said “Screw you” as music began to play while he thanked a long list of collaborators.
Scott rounded off by saying: “Finally I know my [late] brother Tony would have been here tonight for sure and I know many of you knew him and loved him. I love you...
