Warning: Spoilers
In my opinion this is the best episode we've gotten this whole season and it sucks that clexa shippers and others are purposely downgrading it. Many didn't even watch the episode because they are still mourning Lexa which is fine but then please don't make a bogus crappy review without watching. Lindsey Morgan was really proud of this episode and for good reason because her acting slayed. I never really like Montys mom but I am sad that he had to do that to her but it was interesting how he chose Octavia, part of the 100, over his mom even though he thought she was gone to the world. Of course the bellarke team was hella on point throughout this entire episode. The eye contact and glances at each other like old times. The parallels sweet mother in heaven the parallels. And they bandaged each others hands like YEEESS Jasper coming out of his slump excites me so much.

The 100 seems to settle. The story is back on the track, it's fun and enjoyable. The plot is fresh and is interesting to see how things will end.

Excellent episode. Fans need to stop whining...
jtturner-0634716 October 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I thought this was hands down one of the better episodes of the season for a number of reasons. I rarely write reviews but after seeing all of the negative reviews from the so called "fan base" so I just had to chime in.

First off the acting in this episode was phenomenal, especially by Lindsey. Her portrayal of Raven has never been better as she's given the opportunity to display such a range of emotion in this episode. From trying to hurt herself physically to trying to hurt the others emotionally to simply that creepy blank stare while under the control of Alie.. Amazing on her part.

Secondly, I've seen people complaining about Monty having to shoot his mother Hannah. I thought the scene was not only executed well but acted brilliantly on behalf of Monty. Not to mention Hannah's death was long overdue. I've seen fans complain about the number of Asians being written off as if there is some sort of agenda and that is laughably ridiculous.

Thirdly, I am sick of fans saying that Bellamy is no longer a redeemable character. He has done so much good yet the second he joins up with Pike in a moment of weakness he's suddenly this evil person who needs to die? I strongly disagree. After Gina's death Pike got in his head, led him to believe it was Bellamy's fault and in result Bellamy thought that what he was doing was what he had failed to do earlier and that's protect his people. In the long run Bellamy ends up doing what's right and that's save Kane, Sinclair, Raven and almost Lincoln had he not sacrificed himself for his people. If you ask me Bellamy is still the most interesting character in the show.

Lastly, where is this feminism from the fan base coming from? I keep seeing complaints about how the men get to whine and act out and the women just have to suck it up.. Not the case at all. Every character has lost lives and/or taken lives and we see the effects for each regardless the gender. I see no agenda here either.

All in all I feel this season, as well as this episode, has been exceptional. It seems ever since the death of Lexa and/or Lincoln the reviews have been quite negative and I don't think that's fair. You're lying to not only the fan base but to yourselves

Strong Episode and Outstanding Performances
andeashl14 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was incredible and exceeded my expectations.

I have soo many good things to pull out of the performances and the maneuvering of the plot that I'm having a hard time picking and choosing which ones to write about in this review.

Lindsey's performance was amazing, as well as Devon's, Bob's, Eliza's, Chris and Marie's. They all did a stellar job and really captivated my attention and made me believe in what their characters were going through in this episode. I was thrilled that we were able to learn more insight on the relationship Sinclair has with Raven, something I've been hoping would be built on for a while now.

The plot is driving forward at break-neck speed now that there aren't 2 other plots attempting to dance around it, and the delinquents are back! I appreciated getting to witness the struggle Octavia was facing against where she feels she belongs. I also appreciated the fact that we finally got to see a more emotional reaction out of Bellamy when no one was looking. This is The 100 I remember falling in love with back in Season 1.

End review.

Lastly, to all those reviewers who think they're "fans" by giving every episode from 3x07 and beyond an unfair assessment and rating, I feel sorry for you. I'm sorry you can't move forward and go out into the world and be the change you want to see, but would rather sit behind the comfort of your keyboard and rant about someone else's story to a few wandering eyes instead, hoping someone who isn't already in your head-space will take you seriously. My point being that your review is immediately nullified the moment you give it a 1 star; not even the early episodes from Season 1 were one-star material, and those episodes were rough. A secondary way to have your comment be disregarded as petty or immature is by claiming Bellamy is an nonredeemable piece of trash, that isn't worth his salt, and deserves to die, whilst continuing on to say that Monty and/or Bryan deserve more/better, or are even worth saying anything decent about, when they're guilty of the same exact crimes you're claiming Bellamy deserves to die or get beaten for. The fact is, statements like this prove you're biased and hold a double-standard. Why should Bellamy have to move the heavens for you to prove he's redeemable, but all Monty and/or Bryan has to do is either be a homosexual or have the demeanor of a cinnamon roll? As Christopher Larkin beautifully put it: "No one's 100% cinnamon."

Either you can forgive all three of them for following Pike, or you can forgive none of them. End rant.

This Show Needed This Episode!!!
xseries-angel14 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Okay, so for the first time all season, we have most of the original gang back together. And despite all the crap between them, they're working together to achieve a goal. It's like season one, only with way more baggage.

Of course there were moments that just made your heart break in two - the decision Monty had to make in choosing between his mother and Octavia. And moments that made you smile. But over all, it was an amazing episode and the actors nailed it.

I hope the CW knows, though, that the rating this show gets on this channel is about 98% people who are down voting even though they didn't watch it.

This Cast Needs More Recognition
andreakoehler14 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Lindsey Morgan is a powerhouse actor and this episode really showcases it. Having our delinquents in the same area together for an entire episode really threw it back to the good old times that were season 1. These young actors are what makes the show. Their dedication and passion for their characters are outstanding and I hope their talent is recognized despite some "fans" disapproval of plot lines. These characters are all suffering from PTSD so not every decision they make will be plausible to viewers. I just hope people can get past where the show runner has taken the plot line to see how amazing these actors are and how well they carry what is sometimes an offensive and weak storytelling strategy. Bob, Eliza, Lindsey, Devon, Chris, Marie, Jarod, Chelsea, Ricky, and every actor on the show deserve all the love they can get, especially now.

So much better than most of this season! It really felt like a return to The 100 of season 1, and it was awesome (spoilers ahead) to see the delinquents reunited and fighting for their friends again! I loved seeing the interactions of the group and the interactions between each character. I hated what Monty had to do, but other than that and the scene where Raven dislocated her shoulder (ugh), I thought this was a wonderful episode for all the characters. I loved the various reunions and reactions, Clarke apologizing to Jasper, Octavia's "mini arc" in this episode alone... I just really enjoyed it.

And HUGE HUGE HUGE props to Lindsey Morgan for her performance this episode!!! Truly brilliant.

It was pretty okay
lexaheda15 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Ever since episode 3 this season has sucked and to be honest there are a LOT of unnecessary plot decision's made. Letting Monty kill his mother was one of those unnecessary moments. I mean... really? You could have literally let any grounder kill her but for 'shock value' you decided to let her own son kill her so he is further traumatized? (Might I also mention that is the 5th Asian killed in the series?) Of course, the episode could also not be complete with the 'let's blame Clarke for what happened' and 'let's torture Raven some more'.

The reason why I gave this episode an 7 though is because of the stellar performance of the cast this episode, it's was really incredible. (Though there were a couple of moments where I felt that some of the emotions didn't come across as they should. It felt a little strange.)

An intense, well-written episode with superb acting
kali120914 April 2016
After this episode The 100 finally feels like itself again. The delinquents are back together, facing a problem and trying to fix it. The dynamics between the characters are what made this episode stand out. There was so much anger and hurt, Octavia wanting to leave, Allie/Raven trying to further her agenda and calling out the characters' weaknesses, Monty having to face something he might not recover from. However, while things are falling apart, it finally feels like everything's coming together. The story is moving forward again and the parallels, of which there was no shortage, brought meaning and emotion to an overall incredible episode.

The acting deserves to be mentioned as well, since Devon, Chris, Bob and Eliza have all become parts of their roles and portray their characters beautifully. Lindsey Morgan, however, was the scene- stealer and perhaps deserves the most praise for giving a powerful, yet touchingly vulnerable performance.

The band is back
tenshi_ippikiookami16 April 2016
The third season has brought a new environment to the characters and one of the consequences is that "The 100" have not been much of a team anymore. This episode brings the things to the past, as Clarke and Jasper, bringing the "possessed" Raven with them, join forces with Octavia, Bellamy and the others. Their objective: free Raven from Alie.

Even if the episode has some shortcomings, like a couple of decisions the characters make that could have been avoided (I'm looking at you, Monty), that seem to be there just to make things more dangerous for the team, this episode is a good one, full of tension, danger and the threat of Alie getting its hands on the second AI. The episode is dark, very dark (in part because it happens at night) and it is a very well done run against the clock.

All actors do a very convincing job in playing their characters too, bringing the script to life and making us feel close to what is happening, believe that Raven is possessed, Jasper tired, Bellamy lost... Morgan's Raven is especially good in this episode, but the desperation of Bostick's Jordan is also very vivid and realistic.

It is more of a minimalist episode, without many characters or big fights, but that isn't a bad thing when you have the chance to see characters develop, the story unfold, and the danger grow. Good episode.

the 100 is back
catsbooksandtea15 April 2016
The only episode (well, aside from the season premiere) that made me feel that it's finally back.

I'm delighted by the delinquents being back and working together to save their friend. The fact that almost all of them were given more focus and conflict (and ultimately, resolution) in this one episode than the entire 3A was refreshing. Of course, my criticisms to this show/season aside, I still enjoyed this episode and it made me remember why I loved this show in the first place.

A shout out to Lindsey Morgan's performance, too. Fans have been craving for Raven to be given the spotlight she so deserves. They managed to do so in this episode and my, it was glorious.

Cant wait till the next one!!

Warning: Spoilers
Monty and Raven are the strongest characters in the show. They both go through so much trauma. I think Lindsey (raven) and Erica (Alie) did a great job this episode. Poor Monty's storyline was heartbreaking, Alie Raven also gave a couple of our characters some home truths they needed to hear! Also tbh I don't think anything Jasper did in Mt. Weather to save everyone would of made a difference. Everyone suffered so much in this episode 😌. But I don't feel bad for Bellamy, he was so angry and dumb. Didn't even listen to his sister or Clarke and everything went to bad. Hearing Lexa name hurts but I don't mind it, I want more lmao what am I doing in life. When Clarke tells Bellamy that "maybe there are no good guys" could be a sign that Bellarke could happen. Jason Rothenberg did hint that Bellarke would happen, just have to be the right moment for it to happen. I really like Raven, She is so intelligent & Independent,

It doesn't make sense
desireejungschlager15 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
First of all, I don't get why the men, Jasper for example, get so much screen time just whining about the same thing over and over again. I get that they're hurt and traumatized by the event that occurred during Mount Weather. But why do the men get to mourn and grieve while the women have to just suck it up and move on. This annoys me to no end.

Other than that, I just miss the Polis storyline, because I couldn't care less about this AI chip that shows us about 6 million plot holes.

I love the actors on this show so much and they deserve so much better. Especially Lindsey Morgan and Eliza Taylor keep getting better. But the way the story is written is just ........

I just feel like this show is on a roll with its disappointments.

back to its roots
chloetowns14 April 2016
I loved this episode because the whole gang was back together. It felt like the 100 again. The characters interactions were vulnerable, and caring. So fulfilling to see some of these characters who were apart for so long interact again. Paired with this great story, it all fit really well together. It was even a bottle episode which are never the best but this episode WAS SO GOOD. I was on the edge of my seat. My roommate could hear me gasp and say "aww" so much was happening. Really enjoyed the episode. Morgan's performance this episode was crazy good. This episode really displays what a range she has in acting. Really impressed. My roommate could hear me gasp and say "aww" so much was happening. Really enjoyed the episode.

Our delinquents attempt to save their friend Raven from the clutches of ALIE
lelamarie15 April 2016
THis episode focuses on our main characters attempting to save Raven from the clutches of ALIE and the City of Light. This episode reunites our main characters with the sole focus of saving Raven. Emotional angst and rehashing of old wounds ensues. ALIE is in the background and sufficiently creepy. A nod to the Borg from star trek TNG. It will keep you on the edge of your seat and will run you through the gamut of emotions. The acting in this episode is completely on point and a nod is given to at least 2 famous cult movie. It is by far the best episode to date. At the end of the episode our main characters have a new goal. Don't listen to the haters this is a do not miss episode!

This episode was freaking amazing!!!!
cheryl_justinbieber15 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Tonight's episode of the 100 was intense! all of the cast did super amazing and worked hard on this! Now that the whole original gang is back together i cannot wait to see what happens next in the upcoming episode. How are they going to survive now that ALIE knows that Clarke has the 2nd AI? How is Clarke going to find Luna between this chaotic situation that is happening?? There are so many questions that i want to know further down the storyline! I don't support JRoth but the cast works so hard to make this a great show and i support the cast!

Tonight Monty learns that his mom was chipped and ultimately had to make a decision to kill her or get Octavia killed. He kills his mom not knowing what to do. It was either get killed or be killed and he made the right decision. Octava tries to find herself again after Lincoln was killed. She's trying to find her place again. Going to the ending of tonight's episode was light because they ended up being together and had saved raven! So now I'm wondering whats going to happen on next weeks episode!!

The delinquents are together again...and it feels so good
Maiqu2014 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Wow this was an incredible episode!!!

First of all major props to Lindsey Morgan and Chris Larkin! Their performances were just so well done!

Octavia Blake continues to be a selfish and racist character but let's face it she'll never get better.. (Also she's one to talk about lashing out, what with the whole thing about how she committed domestic abuse against her brother last week)

This episode is what the show should always be, what the show was in season 1 before everything became about the grounders.. Because let's face it no one cares about the grounders our their vaguely racist narrative..

Jasper is not my favorite but damn I'm feeling so bad for him, Devon is doing a great job with the PTSD Storyline..

Raven is Raven once again and we're all extremely happy about that.. Sinclair was fantastic.

Bellamy and Clarke are once again leading together like they did in s1, and proving they are always stronger leaders when they are together.

Hated what happened to Monty's mom but it was one of the only bad parts of the episode..

It's surprising how good the show can be again when it's not focused on fan-service relationships and wannabe Game of Thrones story lines.. We need more episode focused on just the delinquents, because they are what made us fall in love with the show in the first place.

There was even a Wells mention! I miss Wells so much..

My only point where I was ?? is that Clarke is really smart, does she really think a chip is a person? That's completely ridiculous (as is her mourning someone she knew for like 3 weeks at most more than she mourned her lifelong best friend)

If you were tired of the grounder storyline, then this episode is one you'll definitely like

Excellent Episode
jncarriere15 April 2016
One of the best episodes so far this season. Lindsey Morgan is one of the best actresses on the show. I'm also glad to see Clarke back with her friends instead of being stuck in Polis with Lexa who thankfully is no longer in the show.

After episode 7 the show has began to really get started and we are seeing some action. Ignore the 1 star ratings they are just some butt hurt fans who are purposely rating the show low.

The Alli SL as well the commander back story's have all come together and the Pike SL is almost ready to conclude. This season is quite different from previous ones.

The 100 is back to its roots.
ka-g15 April 2016
Before I start my recap I wanted the causal viewers tell something. The reason for this episode and every episode since 307 has such a low rating is just the reaction of immature people who can not deal with the fact that fictional characters die on TV shows and now try to get the show canceled and look bad. Just in case you are wondering why a TV Show which episodes are usually rated with 8-9 stars drop to 5 within a week. The show is not getting worse - its quite the opposite: its getting better again.

What brings me back to my intention. And bringing back is exactly what happened this episode. "Nevermore" is full of Season 1 vibes. We got the delinquents working together, no Arkardia, no Polis - just our heroes. We got back our dream-leadership- team Bellamy and Clarke. With this episode we go back to the roots of the 100. The core of yesterday's episode was the 100 - working and survival together. It was excellent.

Lindsay Morgan killed it. Her performance was outstanding. Bob Morley could stay silent the entire episode and yet we would know and feel what Bellamy feels and wants to say. Eliza Taylor and the rest of the crew were also incredible. Best episode of S3 so far.

Characters with some emotion, plot with a lot of holes
rulolarata16 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
It's good when a series switch focus from the plot to the characters and and so on, that's what a good series do, however, you need a solid plot and characters that make sense, that's no longer the case of The 100. In this episode we finally get to see some emotions from the characters, the actors do their best but it's like the script prevented them to act like real human beings, grieving for a second and then suck in it up, which renders the episode repetitive. The plot kind of advances I guess? The stuff with Raven and Alie gets resolved but its very predictable (wee see it from 3 episodes ago) but it turns out that not only night-bloods can have the chip? this only confirms that the CoL plot was never really proof read. Characters like Bellamy face some consequences for his actions, but again, only to not react at all. Lindsey Morgan's acting, as always, is spot on, but other than that the episode gets boring and bland really quick.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was absolutely incredible, it felt like we were back in Season One and the delinquents were working together to solve what was initially an unsolvable issue. Props to Kim Shumway for a beautiful written and structured episode!

Everyone's acting was flawless, but Lindsey was definitely the star of the show. There were multiple different sides to Raven shown in this episode, and the fact that Lindsey could carry all of that and lead the direction of the entire episode was beyond incredible. Her level of talent is just indescribable. Also Christopher was awesome, what Monty had to go through in this episode was all levels of intense and heartbreaking. The entire cast in this gave performances that blew my mind. Every character showed moments of vulnerability and grief and strength and truth that broke my heart and rebuilt it a million times (Sinclair and Bellamy, seriously!!). I am seriously ready for these guys to take over the next Emmy Awards.

Can't wait to see where the rest of the season takes us, the new revelations behind ALIE and the City of Light are so exciting (slightly nerve-wracking, I must admit). The show is definitely picking up speed, so I'm expecting something very very big very very soon.

And honestly, I love anything that allows me to see all of the delinquents back together and surviving off of each other, to be perfectly honest. They're seriously the heart of the show, and what made it great in the first place! An easy and genuine 10/10, couldn't have asked for a better episode.

Amazing Episode! Star of the Episode: Lindsey Morgan
sarahtyler-9726215 April 2016
I think this episode was amazing!! Lindsey's performance was Emmy worthy! So good! Don't know why so many people are rating it down just because of the Clarke and Bellamy relation... Many people are being petty just because their favourite ship didn't last, and they're not recognizing the fact that this episode was the first big Raven focused episode, and Lindsey did a mind blowing job. Other than that, I think the character developments are going great for the other delinquents; as you can tell from how their behaviours have changed since the beginning of the series. So ignoring all the haters, I say Good Job writers and most of all: Lindsey you've just gained a devoted fan!

Great Episode - suck it haters
janetswainston15 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Well, the haters who apparently have the mentalities of 12 year olds who want nothing but teen love story, teen drama and other teen activities and who can't get over the death of two characters, one which was good and one which sucked donkey tail - Lincoln=good, Lexa=donkey tail, just don't get what this show is about.

This episode was exactly what this show is about, SURVIVING, whether it's surviving the harsh environment, surviving the choices we have to make, surviving our emotions, surviving outside forces that are against us, this episode had it all.

Lindsay Morgan continues to chew the scenery in a good way by showing how much she can act and make it believable. Christopher Larkin had his own rock it moment when he had to choose to shoot his mother and his realization that he had made an uninformed choice by shooting her, especially after he saw how they were able to cure Raven.

The bad parts are Jasper's continued teen angst drama crap that is going on way too long. When is someone more mature going to talk to him about this? Bellamy at least told him to get it together, which is something from someone who is also self absorbed in his own pain.

Sinclair got a nice moment and a vague acknowledgment of what he's lost, he did mention he had a wife when they were on the ark in space. I assume she died during the landing.

Great episode, and nice refocus to the original cast back together. Sometimes you have tear things apart to make them appreciate what they had.

All in all, a powerful episode.

This has been the best episode for awhile
michellemullins-4540114 April 2016
I am just so happy that all of the delinquents are back together.

I am pretty upset that Monty has to kill his mom though, but someone had to do it. This might make him develop more.

I feel extremely bad for Bellamy, yes he did do a lot of stupid things, but he feels bad about them obviously. He cant change what he did. Everyone has done stupid things some more then others. He should have gotten a talk maybe to see what he did was wrong. but he did by Niylah and she might even say more about it next week. Who knows? All I know is he will get better and see that what he did was wrong and he needs a change in character.

Lindsey Morgan did a great job she should be extremely proud of her performance. She is literally so great. I hope she doesn't get that hurt anytime soon or at all.

At least Octavia sees that she does have people around that she works well with. Jasper is finally getting over his rut I think.

This episode was great and nothing anyone can say will change my opinions. I keep watching the show because I love it and the actors. Next week I bet the episode will be as god as this one, I hope.
