This was really boring i didn't care about any of the characters, I'm salty that she didn't just leave when she had the chance, good movie over, That would have been great but NO...

Director: Morten Tyldum | Stars: Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pratt, Michael Sheen, Laurence Fishburne

Votes: 447,251 | Gross: $100.01M

I feel like the romance was forced they should have just both woke up on there own instead so the forced drama between them for a while could have been avoided because it was just annoying, and i wish there would have been more shown at the end where they changed a lot on the ship it would have been interesting to see the reactions of the people finding out all that happened.

Votes: 128,236 | Gross: $50.47M

The up and down drama between the 2 main characters got old fast mainly because it became pointless anyway, and i hated how the very end didn't even show the reactions from any the other side characters afterwards it just ended...

Votes: 669,425 | Gross: $25.57M

I liked all the characters mainly Theodore, i enjoyed the story but the way it ended left unanswered questions which was a little confusing, and the weird "sex" scenes were just unsettling but other than those the rest was enjoyable.

7. Saving Private Ryan (1998)

91 Metascore

Votes: 1,496,085 | Gross: $216.54M

I enjoyed this from start to finish and there wasn't a character i disliked even the slightest, There might have been a moment or 2 that i had mixed feeling about, But that's nowhere near enough to make it unenjoyable, This was great and very immersive all the way through.

8. The Prestige (2006)

PG-13 | 130 min | Drama, Mystery, Sci-Fi

66 Metascore

After a tragic accident, two stage magicians in 1890s London engage in a battle to create the ultimate illusion while sacrificing everything they have to outwit each other.

Director: Christopher Nolan | Stars: Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman, Scarlett Johansson, Michael Caine

Votes: 1,440,798 | Gross: $53.09M

This movie had very solid pacing from start to finish, set in an era of the 1890's which added to the atmosphere of magicians at work. This movie had to be told from the perspective of Robert to make sense otherwise some plot holes or the twist would have to occur. It was kind of sad on the Part of Borden 1 where he just kind of got screwed from the beginning where as Borden 2 who actually came out on top above both of Borden 1 and Robert. Robert essentially just created his own destruction by pursuing revenge against Borden 1 who allegedly killed Julia at least in the eyes of Robert. It's possible that Borden 2 could have been the one on stage that day considering Borden 1 couldn't figure out the knot that was tied that day. It was kind of a shame to have Borden 1 just basically lose in the end and have Borden 2 essentially win in the end, Robert's downfall was fair, he had it coming in the end and i was nice that Borden 2 got some retribution for Borden 1. It was cool to see the feud between Boden 1 and Robert as it was interesting to follow the story and find things out as it went along. Although it was pretty one sided with Robert. This movies biggest downfall was after you find out the twist you basically can't watch the movie again as it has terrible re watch value now. Although the plot in that on sitting is very interesting and immersive the whole way.

I liked the 2 main characters, the story flowed together very interestingly and connected around the end, a little confusing at the end with some unanswered question but not to big to hate it. Old note, Fed 2017

Director: Woody Allen | Stars: Woody Allen, Diane Keaton, Tony Roberts, Carol Kane

Votes: 278,349 | Gross: $39.20M

Characters were ok, didn't get some of the jokes and references but some scenes were funny, for a 70s movie i decently enjoyed it, wasn't too sold on the romance tho.

10. Resident Evil: Damnation (2012)

R | 100 min | Animation, Action, Horror

Special Agent Leon S.Kennedy goes against his superior's orders and works to destroy a series of biological weapons being used in a war zone in Europe.

Director: Makoto Kamiya | Stars: Matthew Mercer, Dave Wittenberg, Wendee Lee, Val Tasso

Votes: 22,414

I liked Leon and Ada obviously, JD was okay, Story was kind of meh and there were some scenes that i couldn't take seriously but it had nice visuals and some cool scenes not much else though.- Recent Edit - I pretty much like everything about this movie at this point and it's a favorite now.

Director: Florian Gallenberger | Stars: Emma Watson, Daniel Brühl, Michael Nyqvist, Richenda Carey

Votes: 57,167

10-5-21 Note- I remember this being sort of a biography of sorts on slave camps i think, But i'm pretty sure it was portrayed pretty poorly or was over shadowed by some weird plot development that had nothing to do with them in the first place if memory serves.

14. Iron Man (2008)

Director: Jon Favreau | Stars: Robert Downey Jr., Mickey Rourke, Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle

Votes: 868,339 | Gross: $312.43M

I was confused on what was going on pretty much 3/4 of the movie because there was a new character brought in, which still wasn't fully explained why he was even there.. They had like 3 different people painted as villains like i dunno man whatever, i dunno whats going on anymore...

16. Thor (2011)

PG-13 | 115 min | Action, Fantasy

57 Metascore

The powerful but arrogant god Thor is cast out of Asgard to live amongst humans in Midgard (Earth), where he soon becomes one of their finest defenders.

Director: Kenneth Branagh | Stars: Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston

Votes: 900,013 | Gross: $181.03M

I really like thor no problems with anyone else, i do feel like he should have been a bit more confused on the things they did on earth he just kinda knew how things worked usually but its fine, i also didn't really care for the romance between thor and jane that could have gone without but great on everything else.

i'm surprised iron man never showed up but oh well this is thor's movie.

17. Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)

PG-13 | 124 min | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

66 Metascore

Steve Rogers, a rejected military soldier, transforms into Captain America after taking a dose of a "Super-Soldier serum". But being Captain America comes at a price as he attempts to take down a warmonger and a terrorist organization.

Director: Joe Johnston | Stars: Chris Evans, Hugo Weaving, Samuel L. Jackson, Hayley Atwell

Votes: 896,635 | Gross: $176.65M

I enjoyed the beginning i liked smaller Cap but after he was changed he fell of a bit for me same with the story from there, i shipped there romance when he was smaller but that went away, then things kinda just started happening one after one and i couldn't really keep up with what was going on and by the end i was trying to run everything that just happened through my head but there was just to much, and at the very end i was just like ok sure whatever works guess.

18. The Avengers (2012)

Director: Joss Whedon | Stars: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner

Votes: 1,459,099 | Gross: $623.28M

Everything pulled together pretty well through the first half then it jumped into chaos, witch was quite fun to watch, i enjoyed the chaos the whole way through the second half, some things i didn't understand was how loki could control people because it didn't work on stark cuz his chest power thingy i guess, and also the whole hulk not being able to control his anger but he was doing just fine around the end, i didn't really get that but otherwise i didn't have many other big issues other than those.

19. Maggie (I) (2015)

Director: Henry Hobson | Stars: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Abigail Breslin, Joely Richardson, Laura Cayouette

Votes: 46,703 | Gross: $0.19M

It did alright in a few scenes but not enough to save this very little context on what was going on in the world Never explained why she left or really how she got bite, I liked how it sort of delved into the side charters stories a bit and closed some out, but the ending for the 2 mains was not what i was expecting and just angered me instead.

I really wanted to like this...

Votes: 525

Not completely true to the games narrative, some scenes were 100% different but movies gotta movie, but they got some key part in there which was enough for me and the atmosphere was done well too, the narrative they chose kept me roped in enough to enjoy it so im fine with it.

A scientist becomes obsessed with bringing back his family members who died in a traffic accident.

Director: Jeffrey Nachmanoff | Stars: Keanu Reeves, Alice Eve, Thomas Middleditch, John Ortiz

Votes: 42,018 | Gross: $4.05M

9-22-21 Note- Don't remember much but i do remember being really salty that they killed his family like 10 minutes in then expected me to care about them later whenever they came back up, So i really couldn't feel how the main character was feeling during those scenes because i never got to know any of them to actually care with him. But i think this is probably still a 4 because it was carried so hard by Keanu Reeves.

29. Baby Driver (2017)

After being coerced into working for a crime boss, a young getaway driver finds himself taking part in a heist doomed to fail.

Votes: 610,564 | Gross: $107.83M

Pretty impressed by the sync between the music and scenes made it really fun and how everything kinda pulled together at the end well enough to relatively satisfy. Some things probably could have been explained a bit more but was done enough to pass for me at least.

Votes: 202,569 | Gross: $73.12M

Columbus was fun as always, salty they kinda pushed little rock out of most of the movie, i feel like Madison was a fun edition but she shouldn't have to carry the move so hard D:

32. Running Scared (2006)

R | 122 min | Action, Crime, Drama

41 Metascore

A low-ranking thug is entrusted by his crime boss to dispose of a gun that killed corrupt cops, but things get out of control when the gun ends up in wrong hands.

Director: Wayne Kramer | Stars: Paul Walker, Cameron Bright, Chazz Palminteri, Vera Farmiga

Votes: 103,653 | Gross: $6.86M

Everything tied together understandable enough, i didn't really like how he was apparently undercover the whole time. They kinda glossed over that real quick when it was revealed. I felt like he was just given a reason to get out of all the trouble he got in for free. I'd rather he just got caught after the stadium scene or died when he went home after he was shot. It just seemed out of nowhere and unsatisfying. but it still works out fine as is.

33. Adventureland (2009)

R | 107 min | Comedy, Drama, Romance

76 Metascore

In the summer of 1987, a college graduate takes a 'nowhere' job at his local amusement park, only to find it's the perfect course to get him prepared for the real world.

Director: Greg Mottola | Stars: Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, Ryan Reynolds, Martin Starr

Votes: 168,741 | Gross: $16.03M

I liked the pace for the first half, liked how the characters conversed with the narrative and theme around them it felt like they really were in a theme park, The second half though it turned to a more serious tone instead, like with James getting upset with em suddenly over her and Connell having no strings attached. which id rather she just actually cleared it up then told him he he did for her to show him some respect back and then maybe have it fall out considering James is against the whole having intercourse thing when its not the right time. but instead he find out and gets mad (to be fair) and they stop talking. So James decided he's going to go all the way to find her in new York somehow, with no money after drinking and driving and crashing into someone and paying the damages and being stiffed by his friend Eric who said he could crash with him in new York so all the options before that he had to go there were suddenly gone so i guess he just felt he needed to go wing it and find her cause love i guess. didn't really like it felt really forced probably the point but i think it could have been more subtle. I think the characters and the way they traversed in the shows theme carried this show to be more than what its worth.

34. The Fast and the Furious (2001)

PG-13 | 106 min | Action, Crime, Thriller

58 Metascore

Los Angeles police officer Brian O'Conner must decide where his loyalty really lies when he becomes enamored with the street racing world he has been sent undercover to destroy.

Director: Rob Cohen | Stars: Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster

Votes: 419,443 | Gross: $144.53M

This was pretty solid considering its age in the series, Was mostly focused on drag racing when it came the the street racing portions which i thought were actually not too bad. I was okay with how most things turned out or flowed into each other or together. I thought the romance between Brian and Mia and him also being undercover actually added to the plot relatively well instead of it just being a filler thing. Even the final truck scene was somewhat intense enough to be intriguing, I even felt a bit bad for Vince during it even though he came of as a general aggravation most of the movie but in a decently done way. The only part i didn't really like was a bit toward the end, I thought the last drag race was kind of out of nowhere and also there was a part where Brian was chasing the 2 on the bikes and there was a part where Dom just came out of nowhere and headed them off even though there seemed to be no way he would know where they were at that point, Unless they were going to a specific location then maybe, But that was never made apparent, So that was a bit confusing for me. Otherwise things were done fine. The soundtrack was also put in pretty well to match what's happening in the scenes better than i was expecting.

35. 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003)

PG-13 | 107 min | Action, Crime, Thriller

38 Metascore

Former cop Brian O'Conner is called upon to bust a dangerous criminal and he recruits the help of a former childhood friend and street racer who has a chance to redeem himself.

Director: John Singleton | Stars: Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, Cole Hauser, Eva Mendes

Votes: 297,544 | Gross: $127.15M

This was alright, I enjoyed the beginning race part. Probably could have done without some of the CG parts during it but some of it was alright. Afterwards the undercover part started which i didn't really care for much of it. I really only enjoyed it when Brian and Roman were doing racing things, Otherwise i to interested in the other things going on. I thought the portion where they ran from all those police and did the car swap part with all the cars was probably the highest part of the movie. The part where all the cars came out of the garage was probably my favorite. Things wrapped up at the end well enough, Of course the boat car jump scene was a bit over the top but cool i guess.

36. The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006)

PG-13 | 104 min | Action, Crime, Thriller

45 Metascore

A teenager becomes a major competitor in the world of drift racing after moving in with his father in Tokyo to avoid a jail sentence in America.

Director: Justin Lin | Stars: Lucas Black, Zachery Ty Bryan, Shad Moss, Damien Marzette

Votes: 299,811 | Gross: $62.51M

I'd say this was the strongest on the race scene so far. I really liked the Japanese racing style and esthetic. I thought the narrative played pretty well about using racing to be the main point in the plot to move things along, It flowed well with the Sean vs Takashi idea here. I thought Takashi was pretty well put into the narrative on how they acted during scenes, Takashi's cocky, Oppressive personality was used well in the scenes they were in and never came off odd or dumb. It was also nice to see them get put in there place every once and a while like when Takashi spoke with his uncle after missing an important detail in his uncles business. Which i thought was done cleverly, In a Japanese style at that. The romance between Sean and Neela was welcomed it didn't seem really forced at all and actually added the the plot. Han was a good character to have around, Always nice when they were in scenes, They were used it seemed to help fill time while the narrative was coming along without making it seem like pointless filler. Pretty cool ending nice way to end off the Sean Vs Takashi bit with pretty strong part of the movie. But I'd have to say the part where Takashi chased Sean and Han through japan was probably the strongest part, The scene where whey drift through The Tokyo's Shibuya Crossing Was probably my favorite. The soundtrack did okay with helping scenes flow, Some songs may have been a bit annoying but not a big deal.

37. Fast & Furious (2009)

PG-13 | 107 min | Action, Crime, Thriller

46 Metascore

Brian O'Conner, back working for the FBI in Los Angeles, teams up with Dominic Toretto to bring down a heroin importer by infiltrating his operation.

Director: Justin Lin | Stars: Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster

Votes: 311,121 | Gross: $155.06M

I think the concept of the first half was done pretty well, I liked that portion more than the second half where they went over the border it sorta went downhill for me there. I thought the interaction between Dom and Brian going after the same thing but being on bad terms made for a interesting tense atmosphere between them which I liked. The plot was fine at the start had a goal in mind and was pushing for it while making a good reason to put the 2 around each other. But toward the second half it got a bit more erratic with the plot flow and sorta seemed a bit forced when they went back to Mexico together and didn't even really explain how they even got back over the border at all which was confusing. Then it went a little over the top toward the end with them driving really fast in tunnels that they went through once and just got lucky finding again i guess since it wasn't really explain how they knew where they were for sure including they were even in pitch dark the first time with a guide. I will say i did like the part where they went back to a place after the meet up once they crossed the border the first time. They went to a house to fix Dom up and then Dom found out Brian was in contact with Letty for the job that got Letty killed, But it turned out Letty volunteered to help free Dom of their record. That was probably my favorite part. But i did like the race scenes in the first half and the tense feeling between Brian and Dom the most i thought it added a cool level to the race as well.

38. Fast Five (2011)

PG-13 | 130 min | Action, Crime, Thriller

66 Metascore

Dominic Toretto and his crew of street racers plan a massive heist to buy their freedom while in the sights of a powerful Brazilian drug lord and a dangerous federal agent.

Director: Justin Lin | Stars: Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster

Votes: 407,065 | Gross: $209.84M

This one moved more into the action style which isn't really my style but thought was still done pretty well, I didn't dislike any of it really its quality was solid in those scenes. The portion that stood out the most to me was probably the the escape portion on the rooftops of Rio, That portion was tame enough for me to be satisfied with. Most of the rest was either whatever or a bit over the top for me but i get that's that point and its still fun. I was more interested in the portion's when characters were interacting in a more narrative style than action style. As for those there were a fair few scenes between characters like when they were all together before the heist and Rom and everyone else finding found out about Mia being pregnant and Brian would be a father was a very touching scene. I enjoyed these times the most, Like when the gang helped Hobb's during the ambush and them joining forces was a cool touch too. The only portion i didn't really like was right after they swapped the vaults during the vault chase portion. I thought it was a bit weird for Dom to be so dramatic about cutting Brian lose and staying behind, Along with Brian and Mia coming off as being upset and defiant to it. I would assume that was the plan all along and i would assume that was known before hand since it wasn't really portrayed to not have been. It just felt a little strange and a bit out of character for the whole portion up until Hobb's showed up. I was generally fine with everything else.

This one followed the action style Which was i'd say done at least just as well as the previous. Although they were pretty over the top crazy this time but i still think they were cool at least. This one was carried pretty hard by the character interaction moments for me, Like when they were making jokes at the hideout and even flowing their action scenes together at least the ones i thought weren't over the top, Like i could probably believe when Brian caught Rom from the tank that was a cool interaction. But my favorite action scene was Gisele sacrificing herself to save Han, That was a really heartfelt moment. followed up right after with Brian and Mia consoling him. I'd say that was the most memorable part. As for the plot, I didn't really care about them catching Shaw or anything really pertaining to Shaw and their goons. I only really cared about when it intersected Letty into the narrative. So i only really cared when Dom's crew were involved. I didn't really like the ending airstrip portion that much was kind of cool to see Dom and them do cool action stuff with each other, But it was pretty drawn out for me and i only really cared about what was happening up until they got Mia. I'll say one thing about the end. That is one, Long, Ass, Airstrip. Kind of hard to not notice that...

This one moved pretty much completely to action which i didn't really enjoy a whole lot of it, There was just so much happening out of the realm of possibility so often that it was becoming overwhelming and a bit frustrating. Although there were some scenes that i was relatively okay with or thought was cool but there was pretty much only 1 scenes that i wasn't like "okay sure", It was the scene where Brian got trapped in the bus hanging over the edge of the cliff. I figured if he pretty lucky and moved fast, Sure he could have probably pulled all that off. So i would say that was my most enjoyable action scene. I did really like the part where the bomb Shaw put on Dom's porch went off and blew Dom and Mia over and Brian into the window of the van. I liked the camera shot in the van of Brian getting blown into the glass. That looked cool. There was hardly any actual memorable character interaction that i found entertaining. There was one scene where Brian was talking to Mia over the phone before the finally that i liked. But of course my favorite was the very end at the beach with Brian and Mia playing with their child and everyone else being there. I barely cared at all about the plot and all the other side characters in it, Most of it was followed up with intense action, There wasn't really much time to slow down and build character with anyone. Including Dom's crew, with the exception of Letty a little bit, But unfortunately there wasn't to much story for Letty either, So it seemed a bit forced in around the end which was a bit of a shame, I wish there was a little more time spent on Dom's and Letty's relationship instead of "chase bad guy" and "explosion's". It felt like anything pertaining the the main cast got overlooked a lot by that.

I had a similar story with this one as i had with Fast and Furious, I thought the race scene at the start was pretty cool it was a bit over the top toward the end but not too much and was still fun, Cool character moment when Dom let Raldo keep their car after winning the race, Gaining their respect which was implemented later in the narrative which was a nice interaction to slot into the Plot. I enjoyed the first half more than the second half because the second half jumped from narrative to more action oriented style, Which was kind of cool but over the top and got a little exhausting after such a long while of it. I was more interested in the dynamic interactions between the old crew and Dom while Dom was under the work of Cipher. It had a similar tone that fast and furious had with Brian and Dom for it's first half, Which was nice to see again. How the whole half came together set a ominous atmosphere especially when Cipher's crew breached Mr. Nobody's Base of operations with the whole crew was there after turning god's eye on them to find them. That part was probably the strongest when pushing that tone of the narrative involving all the characters. The second half kind of just jumped from one thing to another relatively quick and got sort of exhausting to keep up with it all. I will say the portion where all those cars in the chase scene in New York where all the cars were put on auto pilot and swarming the roads like a horde was pretty unnerving and unexpected but interesting none the less. Most things that happened plot wise i could just over look but there were some things that kind of seemed hard to believe like when Dom stopped to check under the hood about a noise for 5 minutes. And somehow managed to set up a deal with Deckard's mother without being noticed setting it up before or going to it then. I get the camera's got blocked and all that with the implementation of Raldo's help, But Cipher didn't have anyone one foot tracking Dom at all in case this happened. Or kept tabs on him so Dom couldb't set up the meeting, Since i would have to assume it was already set up prior to the meetup consdering it was already all set up by the time Dom arrived to it. It seemed sort of strange cause later when Dom encounters Letty to get the laugh code case Cipher was able to send a goon to intervene then, Why not the times before? And the fact that they just let Dom bring That cross necklace and didn't check it whatsoever to make sure nothing fishy was going on with it? These didn't seem like things a character like cipher would miss to me at least, It felt a little inconsistent with the character. But oh well, I'll chalk it up to "oops i forgot" or "i didn't think about that i'm only human" and move on. Concluding, My favorite part was probably the prison break portion. Where Deckard and Hobb's were just going to town on people and had some sick parkour fighting scenes along with the music made a well but high paced action portion which i thought was really cool when all strung together.

This one felt like there just wasn't a care at all at this point for the realm of belief for its action scenes, If i was being critical all the main characters should have been dead in the first 20 minutes from all those "trained solders" chasing them, They were either just TERRIBLE at aiming, Or they were hired preschoolers with weapons or something, Like did you see the Roman scene were Roman took out 14 solders completely surrounding Roman or something like that. But Ya know things just worked out don't worry about it. I kind of accepted the completely over top action portions with a grain of salt and moved on. I found it funny that the characters were even making fun of the idea that they always survive somehow and they always come out basically unscathed, And throwing around the idea that maybe they are invincible, Which it really does seem like sometimes. It seems like the writers just accept that it's over the top at this point and i respect that. Saying all that though, There were some cool things that happened, The implementation of the magnet was pretty cool to see in action. It seemed crazy that it was working the way it was while they were in the cars, But i don't know, I'm not a magnet expert so whatever, It was still cool. My main focus was on the narrative and character's interactions which i thought wasn't to bad, The plot sort of jumped around to a lot of different places and moved from topic to topic one after another, It seemed like it was just setting up or filler to get to the final portion. I liked the times when it jumped into Dom's past showing what happen to Dom's father in more detail, But also implementing it into the plot and also adding a new character "Dom's Brother" Jakob. I thought is was a fine way to move the plot forward while also adding backstory on a younger Dom which was cool to see. These portions didn't feel like filler and actually had a point in the narrative. I'm glad it had more meaning in the narrative this time where with Letty in Furious 7 it was just kind of forgot about until the end. The portion That probably comes to memory the most is when Tej and Roman go to japan to see Sean and some of the crew from Tokyo drift doing a jet engine test on a car. It was a bit bizarre to me at first on why they were doing that instead of drifting stuff and kind of caught me of guard, But it was used it the plot later to send Tej and Roman into space so it ended up making sense then. It loved seeing these characters again and to have them be implemented into the plot as well was very cool. These parts were my favorite parts where you would see old characters from past titles pop up again. A big one of course is seeing Han Again i was also a big fan of him in Tokyo drift and the other titles Han was in. The part where Han meets everyone at Mr' Nobody's lair and seeing them all have their moment with Han was very touching. I didn't really follow how Han survived the car crash but maybe i misread the sequence or maybe it will be explained a bit more in detail in the future, From what the final scene showed where Han finds Deckard at the tail end it could be possible. As tradition at this point is seems like, The end wrapped up with everyone at the old house being rebuilt from the first film and everyone around back having dinner. It was cool to see all the characters there, Even Sean's crew was there which surprised me. There was a very cool moment between Sean and Han catching up after not seeing each other for a long time. I got a little sad at the end because everyone was there but Brian. But then Dom's says "were missing someone". And then here comes Brian in their good old skyline, I was just like "ah there he is", sigh.... It was a cool moment, But a bit sad too. I liked the soundtrack, I think it fit into the environments, It made the transitions from place to place feel a bit better.

This had pretty good pacing throughout the entirety of the movie, I think it did a good job of actually taking the proper time to really go through the steps of Jason figuring out who they were and what they were all about. The implementation of Marie was fine, A little weird at times like when Marie came on to Jason pretty much right after Marie became aware that the life she had was slowly disappearing. But i guess she was okay with that enough to come onto to Jason?. Their relationship kind of feels a bit odd to me for her to like the person that is putting them in basically constant danger. Although i guess i can understand because around the beginning Marie came off as someone who had really nowhere else to go or anyone to turn too. So of course Jason would be the closest person to fill that void. And i guess vice versa for Jason in that regard. The portion where they went to a relative of Marie's was a odd choice i think because i would figure that Jason knew that he was being tracked constantly and staying could possibly cause turmoil for the folks staying there after it was found out they were still around. Jason was trying to leave but stayed around for some reason. It seemed like it was because of Marie form what i gathered. I thought this was a bit unexpected from what the thought process of Jason has been so far, It kind of shows that Jason still has a heart and doesn't want to lose thing and could be willing to sacrifice to keep them safe or not lose them. Felt like a good character moment that i wasn't expecting. Afterward the plot pulled around the the finale where Jason finally meets one of the people tracking him, This wasn't a bad way for Jason to get the information he was looking for to get to the climax. With that the end starts with Jason finally "meeting" up with Conklin, Who has been behind all his problems so far and finally figures it all out Having the plot come full circle in a pretty convincing way based on how the charter has acted so far compassion wise with him not completing the task out of guilt of taking a father from his kids. There was probably one scene after that, That was pretty unbelievable, It was when Jason kicked a body down the center, Which was a straight drop of like 10 stories of stairs riding on top of them hitting his shot on a lacky mid flight down then somehow surviving or being paralyzed from the waist down at best. That seemed out of the realm or possibly for me but uhhh.. bodies can be bouncy i guess i don't know. My 2 favorite scenes were was probably when Jason took down the 2 cop waking him up in a park and him completely immobilizing them without and issue and realizing the skills he had. Then when Jason was at a restaurant and Told Marie a bunch of things in detail that he new about the surrounding area that no ordinary person could realize, I like that short portion connecting those two scenes the most. It was cool that after Jason took care of things he went back to Marie after sending her away to protect her which made for a nice moment at least.

I Thought this was solid, It did a good job of flowing from plot point to plot point without becoming to confusing. I thought it was interesting to start off the movie by Jason's girlfriend Marie getting killed. This gave a proper incentive for Jason to actively put himself into the plot without being forced and tied down to Marie the whole time and having it be a rehash of the first movie. I feel like it could have made things a little awkward with him always watching out for her if she had to be in the plot as well. This gave Jason the freedom to move around through the story at free will to progress things at a easier pace. I thought the reasoning for him being involved was pretty standard, "Frame the guy that can't be caught" it's a sure fire plan right?. This worked pretty well though considering it gave Jason a way to get out of the situation without just running away like before by outing Wards plan. Most of the Narrative was Jason just trying to figure out what's going on. It was executed pretty well on understanding why Jason is being targeted. This idea made it pretty easy to connect everyone's stories together. I thought that the constant rivalry with Ward and Pamela gave this tension with them that helped show how the situation was effecting Ward, Giving Him some personality and incentive to take action on some points like trying to ward off Pamela from Jason and him killing Danny to keep Pamela from wanting to question Jason even more than she already was. It was cool to see Jason's amnesia be used in the narrative and not thrown completely aside, It gave a solid way for him to figure out what was actually going on in the plot. It also created an opportunity for my favorite scene which was when he went to find Mr. Neski's Daughter Irena. I thought it was very cool that he went to tell her the truth of what happened to her parents that she lost since he found out the truth about his lose and felt it was right for her to know the truth as well since he was directly involved. This was a very nice Character moment. The escape/Action scenes were done pretty well, Everything that happend i could believe could work with good timing and a bit of luck. I didn't really like the hand to hand combat scenes. The camera was very shaky so it was kind hard to really tell what was going on in them, It made it kind of annoying to watch sensory wise. Overall most of the other scenes were fine nothing out of the realm of belief. There was the part at the start where the assassin sent after Jason not confirming Jason was actually dead was kind of suspicious. But maybe they just didn't care enough to thoroughly check, Or assumed " ya he was driving last i saw so that had to be him i hit. "mission accomplished" or something. But it's fine that can be overlooked to move the story forward easier.

This one was paced pretty much equally as the prequals other than the first hour-ish was a bit slow considering it just consisted of following a person being tracked then something happening at the end of it to move the plot forward. Which was fine, it did move the plot forward well and understandable enough it just took a (while) each time which got a little tiresome but was interesting enough to not be dreadful to sit through or anything. The plot consisted of Jason contently tracking down people who were connected to his past while at the same time he was being track on top of that which gave Jason more options to pull one over on his pursuers and get the info he needs to progress. This was a nice way of moving the plot forward considering it was easy to follow because you get to see everything that's happening from both sides. I think it was well done to bring back Pamela to essentially take Jason's side over time, but not for him but for her own justice over the morals of the organization she has been placed in. It was cool to have her be the one to tie things up with Jason's past instead of him just doing it himself, It felt more official that way. It was cool to see Jason learn all this things that he was trying to figure out finally and created nice character moments like when he was crashed by the agent after him and could have silenced him but didn't out of i would assume pity. Then having that come back later to save him later was a nice follow up. My favorite portion was probably when Nicky showed up and started helping Jason to when she left. This portion consisted of my favorite scene where Jason calls the cops about some shooting then shoves the phone off the table and fires a few round which the thought was pretty funny but in a badass cool way. The thing i didn't like the most was probably when the camera would focus on someone's face but kind of cut it off by the silhouette in front of them. I would assume this is for dramatic effect but to me it was just kind of distracting to me. I did like the combat scenes in this one more than the others, there was less shaky cam so you could actually follow what was going on during most of the fights.

A childhood classic for me that held up pretty well i think. Overall decent comedy through out and i was a fan of the directing on some of the scenes with the cuts and the dialogue was fun. I was fine with all the characters, my favorites were probably red and Wolf, The singing goat was also a pretty amusing addition too. I thought the story was told in a nice way from every characters perspective showing how they flowed together which i'm a fan of. Id say the ending was the weakest part for me. I sort of felt like it was just there to wrap it up the story, but was still pretty cool to see everyone come together to take down the bad guy nonetheless. One Blatant issue i had that bothered me was, why do the humans have 4 fingers? like why? It was just a bit weird to me.

I didn't have much attachment to the sequel as a kid than the prequal and that is for good reason. This one was on a much bigger budget but they just decided to drop the demographic to schoolkid range or something because the comedy just wasn't really there at all this time, no snappy dialogue between the characters or anything. It just felt like really forced jokes that just weren't funny to anyone above the age of 8, But I'm not even that sure would cut it, most of them weren't necessarily offensively bad some of them them were like some fat shaming and digs toward certain orgs like the food network and specifically whoever Racheal ray is like why? I still enjoyed some of the characters, it was nice to see Red and wolf again even the singing goat was brought back. I'm not sure why the goat was on such hard times the whole movie he was like the squirrel from ice age just with no meaning behind his incidents other than haha look he got hurt. The forced confrontation with Wolf and Red was just kind of stupid and really degraded the characters for me, Fortunately they eventually stopped doing that so they were fine from there but not anywhere near close to Hoodwinked 1 quality. Pretty much didn't care about the story, It had an idea and followed it up but for no real meaningful reason other than just to have a story. There was no real motivation for Hansel and Gretel other to just be evil for being evils sake. At least the bunny in the first ones reason was for power and success to not be looked down on anymore which is at least understandable.

I liked the overall feel of this one, I liked the the school festival going on around the school it was cool to see everything going on here and there. School festivals in japan always looks really cool to me. This had a nice pace but may have been a bit long but didn't make it boring or anything i still enjoyed pretty much all the scenes but some probably didn't need to happen like when the guy tried to confess to Son which was definitely interesting but sorta unnecessary and the same with Kyoko calling up Kazuya to meet up with him to tell him how she feels about him before the gig for it to just not really matter that much later anyway. That also seemed sorta unnecessary but was still was fine nonetheless. I enjoyed the time when they were just doing things together the most and just having a good time either practicing or doing whatever together compared to when they were off solo. With the expectation of Son going to the karaoke bar and sorta being clueless on how it worked that was a kind of funny and cool way to show that she's from out of country and doesn't fully understand everything yet, it was also fun to see her practicing her singing there too. I did like all 4 main characters probably in order from Son (really liked her eccentric personally made scenes fun to have her around)-Kei (I liked her cool demeanor and she was able to be sweet at times too which made a good combo)-Kyoko (She was the kind of uppity one of the group that made things that seemed kind of down feel a bit higher spirit with her playful nature)-Nozomi (sort of shy laid back and cool and collected personally which sort of gave her a cool vibe to me) they all had nice distinct personalities that were generally fun to have together. There was a portion at the start where there was drama between some individuals that were in the band previously but it wasn't explained that much from what i could understand. As far as i could tell someone got hurt playing basketball i think and couldn't play guitar for them anymore, someone got mad about something and i'm not sure why. It sorta just seem like more of a reason to get the 4 main cast together without them already being together i guess? It did sorta come up again toward the end between Kei and some other girl who's name i don't remember and i still didn't really have a clue what it was about so that was a bit confusing but at least it ended sort of positively. My favorite part was probably when they woke up late for there gig and had to run though the rain (which was a nice added touch) to get their and only had time to do at least one song and of course it had to be Linda Linda.

I think this one was very well directed and had very interesting dialogue when it came to Lee's interactions with others around him, I find his speaking manner intriguing he is a very fascinating character to me so i enjoyed mostly when he was interacting with others more than anything else. He kind of comes of as kind of an asshole most of the time which i suppose is understandable considering his past of losing his kids and wife and feeling guilt over it but that's not a really a "good" reason to be that way to others. But nonetheless It was still a good mix of him struggling to keep himself together but also acknowledging what's important to him at the time which made up for his occasional outburst usually. The tension between Lee and Patrick was a little bit exhausting but usually had understandable reasoning behind it so it wasn't annoying whenever it occurred. I did enjoy the pace of how things moved from one thing to the next without really jumping to far ahead of itself to make things confusing, it made the narrative was very easy to follow even though it kept jumping from the past to the present a lot. It did this when the present was sort of at a stand still so you could jump back from the past and not get too whiplashed from it. It was very interesting to follow how just the passing of one person can uproot and change multiple individuals life's in such a big and sudden way. It was also nice to get a look back on Lee's past on why he acts the way he does in the present, it made the way he acts and portrays himself to other much more believable and understandable no why he's so against being the guardian of Patrick. My favorite part was probably when Lee happens to run into Randi and they have a conversation about how Randi still loves and cares about Lee and is sorry for things she said to him about the incident before and still wants to be around him to make sure he okay i think? but he just cant bring himself to do it over the guilt. It was pretty tense the way they spoke to each other during it, i don't really know how to explain it in words, It was just very cool to watch go down. The very end sort of caught me by surprise by just ending suddenly from them walking up a back road to them just fishing which was a bit weird, maybe it could have had some follow up before the fishing but i don't know how you would end a movie like this to be honest so its whatever.

Old Note Feb 14 2017 - I enjoyed this except for a scene or 2 i really liked Lee as a character most others i was fine with no one i really hated, not really happy with the ending it kinda just suddenly ended but i enjoyed the rest otherwise. i liked how everyone talked to each other it was entertaining none the less.

The romance in this was up and down but in a way that felt like it could work but could not at all times, which created a great tone for the whole movie. Surrounding everything else that's going on in the main plot, The main plot seemed more like a way to push the movie forward and seemed to be carried more by the many romances a dialogue of the characters in this movie that all came together all throughout.
