Karaktererne er så komplekse, og man ved aldrig hvad der sker (med mindre man går igang med at læse historiebøgerne) --- jeg var ikke synderligt imponeret over første afsnit, men var hooked efter jeg så det andet ;) "The Sheildmaidens" er så seje! Elsker stærke kvinder :D

Og bonus (og lille spoiler); Det at Kieren er homoseksuel, er ikke noget der får ekstra fokus, det føles faktisk ret naturligt!

Den er SÅ god -- kan godt passe ind i kategorien "typisk chick-flick", men det synes jeg alligevel ikke rigtigt at den er! Den føles meget ægte og behandler et emne som vi alle kan relatere til, selvopfattelse versus andres opfattelse og vigtigheden af den.. Den har mange af de klassiske chick-flick elementer --upopulær/usynlig/klog pige længes efter lækker fyr, noget med noget self-discovery, endda en lille makeover montage -- men de bruger alle elementerne til deres fordel og prøver ikke at lægge skjul på dem, men gør dem i stedet reelle i deres udtryk, så man får noget rigtig positivt ud af den, og ikke bare "grim trunte gennemgår makeover og derved scorer skolens hottie".. + de har castet rigtig mange komedie skuespillere, som gør filmen naturligt sjov (jeg græd latter-tårer mangen en gang)!
