Fox News is adding a new permanent face to the “Fox & Friends” curvy couch, as Lawrence Jones will officially join the program as a co-host.
Starting on Sept. 18, Jones will join the current co-hosts Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade for the 6-9 a.m. Et weekday show. Jones will continue to serve as the network’s enterprise reporter.
“We have a huge announcement,” co-host Ainsley Earhardt said during Thursday’s show. “You know him, you love him. And now Lawrence Jones is getting a bigger role on ‘Fox & Friends’ and we are bringing together the entire family for the whole announcement.”
Fox News anchors Steve Doocy, Rachel Campos-Duffy, and Will Cain all joined the show virtually to celebrate Jones’ official appointment.
“It looks like the bosses are allowing me to join ‘Fox & Friends’ full-time as one of y’all’s co-hosts,” Jones said as Doocy offered him a round of applause.

Donald Trump flubbed a “Fox and Friends” quote by touting a segment of the Fox News show he believed was a compliment when in fact, it was actually a criticism of the former President’s campaign.
“Rachel Campos-Duffy and Will Cain, two terrific people (along with Pete Hegseth!), were right this morning on ‘Fox & Friends.’ Almost 99% of the people I support in a Republican Primary, Win!” the former President wrote on Truth Social Sunday morning, adding a quote that read, “A Trump Endorsement will Make Your Career, A Trump Fight Makes It Very Difficult!”
As it turns out, the hosts made the exact opposite point while discussing Trump’s Saturday rally in Pickens, South Carolina. During the discussion, Joey Jones, who stepped in during Hegseth’s absence, argued that the former President’s support — or lack thereof — would not “make” nor “kill” a Republican politician’s career, using his...

Former President Donald Trump is facing numerous lawsuits as well as civil and criminal investigations — including alleged hush money payments to stave off a sex scandal, possible obstruction of justice, and election interference — but according to Republican Congressman Ken Buck, those investigations and allegations “almost give [Trump] credibility.”

Fox News was not happy with President Joe Biden’s commencement address to Howard University, which one Fox host called “pandering” and led another to declare America the “least racist country in the world.”
“Racism has long torn us apart,” Biden told the crowd during his speech to the historically Black university in Washington, D.C. on Saturday. “It’s a battle that’s never really over.” The president then called white supremacy “the most dangerous terrorist threat to our homeland,” and added, “I’m not saying this because I’m at a Black Hbcu.

Trump has been indicted, and the GOP reaction to criminal charges against the former president has come with a hefty side of antisemitic conspiracy-mongering.
Virtually everyone in right-wing politics — from lawmakers, to political pundits, to the former president himself — has accused Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg of being a George Soros-funded puppet prosecutor. The connection is pretty weak.
On Friday, Soros gave a rare rebuke of attempts to link him to progressive prosecutors, stating that he neither knew Bragg nor donated to his election campaign. “As a matter of...

Trump is expecting to be charged in relation to his 2016 hush-money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels sometime this week. While the specifics of the indictment have not yet been revealed, Fox News is already working overtime to brand the investigation a witch hunt, an abuse of prosecutorial power, and a political ploy to prevent Trump from securing the 2024 nomination. But aside from playing its Trump-defense greatest hits, Fox has also resorted to airing every absurd argument their writer’s room can think of to defend the former president’s actions.

Last Week Tonight, the late-night program hosted by John Oliver, usually sticks to adding context to complicated news stories — breaking down bills, the implications of different political decisions, the fallout from structural failures. But this week, Oliver had to strip the show down to an elementary level to explain to Fox & Friends Weekend hosts Jesse Watters and Rachel Campos-Duffy that Julia Roberts playing an environmental activist in a movie does not make her an actual environmental activist.

Actors aren’t really the characters they play in film and TV.
John Oliver relayed that message on Sunday’s Last Week Tonight in response to a comment from a Fox News pundit.
He began the latest episode of his HBO late night show by noting that both former President Donald Trump and U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg have visited East Palestine, Ohio, in the wake of a freight train derailment and toxic spill.
But, Oliver noted, that isn’t enough for some Fox News Channel personalities. He showed a clip of Fox News hosts Rachel Campos-Duffy and Jesse Watters discussing the high-profile figures who have — and haven’t — visited the Ohio town amid the disaster.
“Think about the environmental activists, and corporate America — they weren’t there,” Campos-Duffy said. “I mean, with the activists, this is an ‘Erin Brockovich’ moment. There was a blockbuster, Oscar-winning movie written about something like this.

John Oliver started off Last Week Tonight roasting Fox News for the second week in a row. The HBO Max host show started off by noting that Donald Trump and U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg attended the train derailment in Ohio.
However, over on Fox News, Jesse Watters and Rachel Campos-Duffy asked why some personalities had not visited the site in East Palestine.
“Think about the environmental activists and corporate America, they weren’t there,” Campos-Duffy said on Fox & Friends Weekend.
The Real World: San Francisco alum continued, “This is an Erin Brockovich moment. There was a blockbuster Oscar-winning movie written about something like this.”
Watters added that Brockovich was actually paying a visit to East Palestine with Campos-Duffy asking, “But where is Julia Roberts?”
Oliver’s reaction to the Fox News segment left him confused and asking what they were talking about before educating the television personalities on Roberts’s profession.

Reality TV legend Mark Long appears in The Challenge: Untold History documentary. Pic credit: MTV
In a recently-revealed clip from The Challenge: Untold History, viewers can take a trip down memory lane with some of the Og cast members who were part of the show’s early evolution.
Initially, MTV’s The Challenge didn’t involve the extra-fancy production, an extensive cast of reality TV stars, or even a big money prize, as competitors roughed it in an Rv.
Those early years brought Real World and Road Rules together to see which cast might win bragging rights for various missions, among other random prizes they received. Money was on the line at times, but never near the amounts competitors battle for today.
The show’s earliest cast members included legends like The Godfather Mark Long, Darrell Taylor, Jon Brennan, Theo von Kurnatowski, and Veronica Portillo.

As Russia has intensified its war in Ukraine, the Kremlin’s propaganda outlets have largely been shut off in the West — but Vladimir Putin has some not-so-subtle defenders nestled into America’s far-right media outlets.
That includes from Fox News’ biggest boy, Tucker Carlson, as well as the folks of Oan. Arguably the front-runner for the most outrageous claim came from Oan correspondent Pearson Sharp, who speculated wildly in a segment last week that Putin’s decision to invade a sovereign country was actually the fault of — wait for it — President Biden.

Rachel Campos-Duffy has a lot going on. The mother of nine makes her “Fox & Friends Weekend” co-host debut Saturday and just launched a new podcast with her husband, former congressman Sean Duffy. The couple met thanks to MTV’s “The Real World” — she was a cast member on “The Real World: San Francisco” in 1994, while he was on “The Real World: Boston” — but Campos-Duffy isn’t convinced the new iteration of the show that sparked her marriage can live up to the original seasons.

Rachel Campos-Duffy, a commentator who is also known from her time on MTV’s “Real World” series, was named a co-host at “Fox & Friends Weekend,” replacing Jedediah Blia. She is slated to start on June 12.
Placing Campos-Duffy in the role means Fox News has a more stalwart conservative on the program than her predecessor. Blia was known for espousing libertarian views and did not always rush to bolster the antics of former President Donald Trump during his term in the White House. Donald Trump’s reelection campaign is requesting that the first presidential debate between the president and Joe Biden be held in early September, while it has provided organizers with a list of recommended moderators.
The list, below, is heavy in Fox News personalities, yet does not include Chris Wallace. He moderated a debate in the 2016 cycle, but recently interviewed Trump for Fox News Sunday in a widely praised hour-long exchange in which he, at multiple points, fact-checked the president’s assertions.
Trump’s campaign argues that the first debate, now scheduled for Sept. 29, will take place after early voting has begun in 16 states. Two other presidential debates are scheduled for Oct. 15 and Oct. 22. The Trump campaign also continued its call for debate planners to a fourth debate to the schedule in early September, but said that if that does not happen, the Oct. 22 event should be moved to that date.

Fox News’ “America Together” special drew in 1.277 million total viewers Sunday night at 10 p.m. Et, according to early Nielsen ratings data. Of those 1.2 million, around 200,000 were in the advertiser-coveted age demographic of 25 to 54.
During that time slot, CNN had 1.067 million total average viewers and MSNBC had 661,000, according to that same early Nielsen data.
Sunday night’s special was the culmination of Fox News’ “America Together” branded coronavirus effort, which has been spread across television and digital properties for four weeks and has included almost 600 feel-good stories of people behaving selflessly or recovering during the pandemic that has swept the country and the world. According to a release, there have been over 3,900 user submissions of other stories, too, and Fox News has delegated at least one network reporter to “America Together” stories since March 25. Since then, 371 have aired on Fox News and its website while 126 have aired on Fox Business Network and its website.

Sean Duffy, the former congressman and cast member on MTV’s The Real World, has joined CNN as a political commentator.
Duffy debuted on CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday with Jake Tapper.
In September, Duffy resigned his congressional seat after he and his wife, Rachel Campos-Duffy, learned that their new-born child would need surgery to address a heart defect. Their daughter was born on Oct. 1. The couple met when they were both appearing on MTV’s Road Rules: All Stars.

A person’s image can certainly change over time since Rachel Campos-Duffy was at one time seen as just another pretty face on TV but throughout the years has certainly shown that this isn’t all she has to offer. The one thing that’s been obvious when it comes to those that sought their popularity in the 90s is that unless they had the ability to stick around they were likely going to be taken for granted and thought to nothing more than a one-note individual that couldn’t adapt or evolve as time went on. Rachel however has proved that she has

Jimmy Kimmel got blasted by Team Trump this morning.

“A dagger to the heart” of immigrants is how show co-host Ainsley Earhardt and Fox News commentator Rachel Campos-Duffy described Kimmel’s crack that Guillermo could become First Lady. That after Kimmel imitated Melania Trump’s accent as she had performed the traditional children’s book reading to celebration participants.

“Imagine if we moved to another country and had to learn the language. That would be so daunting,” Earhardt told viewers. “She not only speaks five languages, she’s reading different languages too.
