Poll: The National Film Registry's Elite Directors

The United States National Film Preservation Board created the National Film Registry in 1988 to preserve films which are "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant". Every year up to 25 films are selected and they range the gambit from experimental films and shorts to epic feature films spanning the last one thirty years of cinema.

Many actors, actresses, crew members and directors can lay claim to taking part in one of history's best films. However, since the collection is ever expanding there are certain individuals which have stood out as prolific contributors to the archive.

Which director with seven or more titles in National Film Registry do you consider the best?
