In the last days of humanity, after a massive solar event has killed most of the world's population, robots carry out many tasks that humans no longer will/can do themselves. All robots are programmed with two rules (similar to Asimov's three laws of robotics), 1) do not allow a human to be hurt; and 2) do not alter your programming or perform maintenance. Not 100% accurate, but you get the point. Antonia Banderas plays an insurance adjuster for the robot's manufacturer. In his investigation of a robot that appears to have performed self-repair he becomes an unwilling participant in the evolution of the robots, who aren't only repairing themselves, but are now "reproducing".
I'd rate this as a 6 of 10 and recommend it to those that appreciate this kind of film.
