I have a different way to rate movies now and it is classified into 5 categories:
Narrative- The story and how good it is by means of Script and Directing.
Performance- The acting and overall characters in the movie.
Medium- Camera work, editing, sound, how good the movie is communicated to the audience.
Aesthetics: The look of the movie by means of special effects, PD and CMS.
Control: How well the movie got sold, by means of money.
These each get a ratting out of 10 per movie. Then the average gets put down for a final movie rating.
